Dear Softball,
I cannot believe this has finally had to come to an end. For the last 14 years, you have been my rock, my life, and the place I call home. All those countless days spent at my sisters softball tournaments, laughing and playing with my friends on the playground. To now, sometimes not even realizing the moments I was living on the field with girls I now call family—softball has been my constant through every high and low, every joy and every challenge.

To my teammates, you have meant the world to me. The friendships I’ve made over the years are treasures I will carry with me forever. Each and every one of you has helped shape who I am today, not just as a player, but as a person. You’ve been my support, my cheerleaders, and my sisters in this journey.

To my coaches, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve taught me strength, grit, confidence, and leadership—qualities I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Through every strikeout, every error, and every moment of doubt, you stood by my side, lifting me up and urging me to keep going, to get the next one. The life lessons you’ve shared are priceless, and I am forever grateful for your guidance and belief in me.

To my family, I cannot thank you enough. Without your endless love, sacrifices, and support, none of this would have been possible. You have been my foundation, my biggest fans, and my safe place. I love you more than words can express, and I am so grateful for everything you’ve done to help me chase my dreams.

Softball has given me so much more than just a game. It has given me a family, strength, memories, and a sense of belonging I will hold close forever. Thank you to everyone who has shaped me into the player and person I am today. Salem Softball will always have a special place in my heart, and I will carry its spirit with me wherever I go.
