For the past year and a half, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the Haifa Museums Art Incubator @hamama.art.haifa , surrounded by an extraordinary group of artists.

I arrived with a single story, my grandmother’s story of Haifa, without knowing where it would take me. Little by little, that story became a path. I found myself walking through the streets of the city, speaking with strangers, listening, photographing, collecting fragments of memory, and slowly transforming them into new works.

Somewhere along that journey, I met Adi @adilam_

She believed in this project from the very beginning. When I was full of questions, she saw possibilities. When I hesitated, she encouraged me to keep going. She walked beside me through conversations, doubts, and discoveries, always reminding me to trust the work and trust myself.

The works you will see in my solo exhibition, Teta, opening on Saturday, August 1, exist because of that journey, and because someone believed this dream could become real, even before I fully believed it myself.

Thank you, @adilam_ , for seeing the exhibition before it existed, and for helping me find my way to it 🤍

Last month to visit Climate (2026)
On view until June 27 at Haifa Museum of Art

🏞️🌅🌄

The exhibition ‘Northern Horizon: A New Perspective on 1970s Landscape Painting in Israel’ presents an overview of the Climate art movement, featuring artists such as Michael Gross and Ori Reisman alongside contemporary contributions.

My work is an homage to this post-war movement, which focused on local light and color. It reflects on both landscape painting and the term climate itself. Also shared here is part of an interview with curator Kobi Ben Meir published in Portfolio magazine.

Thanks to the curators Kobi Ben Meir and Limor Alpern, and assistant curator Adi Lam, for inviting me to create this project. Thanks also to the Artists Residence Herzliya for hosting me in their studios.
