Bidding summer adieu with some highlights. It’s been a strange and hard season, moving through grief and loss while also experiencing joy and light. Holding it all is a little easier being surrounded by so much love. 💕

Hard to believe that it’s been a month since the Brassy Bombshells performed at the Dance Parade grandstand @danceparadenyc ! We had a wonderful time bringing our Mardi Gras party to the parade route.

DanceFest after Dance Parade @danceparadenyc in Tompkins Square Park last Saturday was a dream!

The sun was shining, our Brassy Bombshells were sparkling, and Dark Tide Brass Band @darktidebrass brought the best vibes in the park.

We turned Tompkins Square Park into a Mardi Gras party and can’t wait to do it again!

Yesterday was the debut of the inaugural class of Brassy Bombshells at the 20th Annual Dance Parade @danceparadenyc and we couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day.

The weather was gorgeous, Dark Tide @darktidebrass sounded amazing, and our Mardi Gras-ready Brass Hands provided invaluable support on the parade route.

So grateful to our dancers, the band, and our support team for joining in this experiment. We brought New Orleans to New York yesterday and had an incredible day we’ll never forget!

What a beautiful production I got to be a part of. I’m still singing all these songs in the shower 🦖 🦣 🪜 🥔

Best sm team ever, I love these people with all my heart 🫶
Is it too late to post? Maybe.
It’s what we do, we start anew 🕺

Now my Egyptian rat screw needs are unmet.
Also, jumpscare at the end, but one that still makes me giggle.

We closed Suffs last night and it still hasn’t totally sunk in that I won’t be seeing these people to do the show on Tuesday. Thank you for the memories, laughter, and puzzles. I love all of you Suffs. 💜💛
