Since my season is over I thought I'd make this post to reflect on all the crazy things I've done leading up to this. In my second year of riding motocross I suffered a series of nasty crashes starting with a very painful knee injury then crashing into a 6ft ditch bruising and or breaking my ribs and hip crashed into a thorn bush, rolled my bike over my back in a wood's race, and casing the triple at parker mx leaving my ankles in extreme pain through that whole off season. The next year was pretty tame but I started the season off cross rutting at BRO mx landing on my head and hurting my neck. The rest of that year I made a ton of progress. Now year 4 I came into this year like I had something to prove which led me to several dangerous crashes and some scary near misses and to end my season I sent the big triple at diamondback mx because my closest competitor and I had a drag race down the back straight away after that triple and I knew hitting it would have prevented that but I came up short most likely landed on the back of my head and stanped my spine apart. The chances of paralysis from the type of injury I have are over 90% considering I sat up under my own weight so I'm blessed to have never seen nerve damage and be given a second chance at life. I have an appointment in January to determine when and if I'll be able to ride again and hopefully take the rod out of my back so I can have a fresh start next year. Thanks to everyone who's supported me throughout this and all my riding before.
