Pinch me - I can’t believe one week ago I was stood right there behind a lectern with a goose-mic hosting the first edition of the Golden Arrows awards just 2 hours after the final Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup of the year. And after 6 months of solid back to back Cross Country and Downhill World Cups, around the world.

Confession - I didn’t shower, there was no time. Straight from White Face Mountain after an entire day live announcing and hyping up the crowd, it was a hot step to the Olympic Conference Centre Lake Placid for one rapid run through of the script, reapply make up, somehow tame my hair then showtime.

Calling it an honour doesn’t come close - right in front of me I had a table of Mountain Bike Hall of Famers who essentially founded the sport of which I have fallen absolutely besotted with, a table full of the WBD clients who asked me to do this in the first place (!!!) and a room full of Mountain Bike riding heroes future, present and past - getting to know this sport deeper, its heritage, its purpose, its key to unlocking so many people’s passion and love for life is something I’ll never take for granted.

Playing my small part in this sport is something that dreams are made of and I hope this year, every rider, fan, team, manager, mechanic, chef, physio, parent, family and friend felt my sincere respect and love for their sport, because one thing is certain in life no matter what is happening in this world, you should always have sport and never ever be denied and it is my job - to celebrate you no matter what the result is - showing up is 99% of the game.

I love you @uci_mtbworldseries

@aditvled - if I had an award to give, it goes to you

From South Korea in April to wrapping up the North American leg in Lake Placid today—what a season as an LED Tech and Resolume Op for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup with @aditvled 🚵‍♂💨
Covering both XC and DH disciplines meant taking our screens and playback systems through every kind of weather and terrain imaginable, while also jumping in to cover vision mixing and camera work when the schedule called for it. Highlights definitely included hitting legendary venues like Andorra, Les Gets, and being part of history for the very first World Cup stop in Whistler, plus incredible weeks out in North America.
Huge thanks to the amazing team keeping the show on the road. Nothing quite like pixel-mapping, pushing content, and mixing live angles while watching the world’s best riders pin it down the mountain.
Time to pack down the case one last time this season! 📦✨

Transitioning straight into freelancing requires a lot of cojones 🤨

Believe you me, I honestly wasn’t ready for it from the off.

But it was the right decisive move I had to make if I ever wanted to be taken seriously as a video content producer.

In this video, I got into detail into what it took to get going as a proper freelancer.

But here are some of the key opportunities, which played significant factors in my professional development 🔽

1) Practicing video editing regularly is extremely hard when you haven’t got any sources to work with. Thankfully, I secured a part-time freelancing role with @aditvled , to put together live sporting highlight packages during match-days for both Cardiff & Swansea City.

2) Working alongside the multi-talented football freestyler and content creator @john.farnworth on his YouTube channel. Gave me the freedom to hone my skills, while establishing myself as a proper video content producer.

3) From what first started out as just a freelance commission, to produce two short football animations for their sports focused social channel. This soon became the pathway to my first ever full time media position. As the @ladbible group pretty much signed me up after I completed their assignment.

I did take a great deal away from these three monumental freelancing ventures.

So much so, that I eventually made the call to channel everything that I’d learnt from them into something significant.

I.e. a Young Enterprise Programme at the Princess Trust, or known today as the @kingstrust .

Because I enthusiastically wanted to establish my very own video marketing agency, aka @reachoutstudios .

Since this felt like the next evolution of defining the services I wanted to provide, and even attaching a relatable name to it.

Anyhow, rather than divulging all of those details right now.

I’ll instead leave that story for the penultimate episode in this series, that’ll be coming sooner rather than later 🔜

I get to stand on the stage and tell the story. But I couldn’t do any of it without the people who never get to and the people I’m lucky enough to work alongside! Grateful doesn’t even cover it — this week reminded me how many hands go into one moment 🚴‍♂️✨

So lucky to be part of such an amazing team @aditvled @thetourofbritain 🫶 these past few weeks will always be ones to be remembered ✨

Cannock Sound Hire are proud to have partnered with ADI TV on audio, staging and lighting for the School Games Opening Ceremony at Loughborough University.

We built a perfectly matched stage extension for their giant video wall, plus a dedicated camera podium and a fully compliant access ramp.
Our audio team handled all audio — IEM mixes for the hosts, and front-of-house PA.
Lighting was operated from our @avolitesltd D7-330, and for DJ @charstape (Char Snape) we supplied Pioneer CDJ-3000s with a DJM-V10 — one of her favourite setups. Full @sennheiser digital system used to handle wireless audio.

Thank you to @aditvled for bringing us in, and to our production team for their hard work.

LES GETS 2026 @uci_mtbworldseries 🚵‍♀️

I don’t think I will ever floor manage such a crazy, incredible and fun event again in my life. About two thirds of a way through the the Mountain Biking World Cup, we landed in historic @lesgetsofficiel

Work hard, party hard.

During the days I worked hard to help produce an unforgettable show for the fans, and in the nights I partied with those fans! With flares, flags and (safe) chainsaws, it’s impossible to avoid the after parties. Around all this, I went on alpine rollercoasters and even managed to actually try downhill mountain biking for the first time 🚴‍♀️

My role as the Floor Manager is to work with the presenters, producers, riders and clients to help produce an entertaining show before, during and after the races. This can look like editing videos, writing scripts, filming live, cueing presenters/DJs, organising trophies and directing the podium ceremony. As you can see, this weekend is a one-in-a-lifetime event and having this role has meant a lot for me. It’s rare to work a job where every single person involved is lovely and kind, but this job has truly been a dream.

This weekend was extra special, as I also picked up a DJ set at @barbylonelesgets for the Sunday After Party, thanks to the amazing @_djvinc_ 🎧

A huge thank you to @aditvled for bringing me on board your team.
