Archives made of clouds. What horizons open up the moment we refuse inherited taxonomies and instead we call up, bring together, summon to action and to presence, to an assembly, a community and a collocation of ideas, peoples, objects, spirits, ghosts? A performative collective body that leaves no one and nothing behind. Could we call it an archive? What happens when we open ourselves to the creole art of Rasanblaj, an anticolonial method for (hi)story and archiving, rooted in the slave revolution in Haiti? This is what we will explore with Roots Collective (migrants memory solidarity collective), Adla Shashati, myself and Dina, artist and facilitator, who will help us summon a collective body. *This is a FLINTA workshop (female, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, trans, agender people) Big thanks to transeuropa festival for making this happen - follow the events, screenings, workshops on their profile and on their webpage. Venue: Eteron - Leokoriou 38-40 Friday 9 October from 18:30 to 21:30.

You’ve seen what deportation obsession looks like. Raids on homes, schools, and places of worship. Deaths in detention centers and on the streets. Now Europe is building its own version. On the 9th of March, MEPs will vote on the EU’s new Deportation Regulation. This law will expand detention, fast-track deportations, and create the legal pathways for an EU ICE and offshore deportation prisons outside of the EU. It will allow governments to deport people to places they are not even from. It’s a law straight from the far-right playbook. We don’t want an EU ICE. We don’t want mass raids and deportations in Europe. MEPs, REJECT the Deportation Regulation. 📢 Take action today TIME IS RUNNING OUT ⚠️ Create a post, share widely, tag your MEPs and sign the petition at the link in @wekeep_ussafe and @wemove_europe Έχετε δει πώς μοιάζει η εμμονή με τις απελάσεις.
