Hay momentos en la vida en los que uno solo quiere desconectarse. Encontrar un lugar que lo abrace con calma, con naturaleza y con belleza en cada detalle.

Un lugar donde las artesanías cuentan historias, donde la madera tiene alma, donde los atardeceres parecen detener el tiempo. Un lugar con espacios amplios, cómodos y cuidadosamente diseñados, donde cada rincón invita a respirar más despacio y a volver al presente.

Mawimbi no es solo un hotel. Es un lugar al que se viene para renovarse, para reconectar con uno mismo y para recordar todo aquello por lo que vale la pena agradecer.

Quiero agradecer profundamente al equipo de Mawimbi por haber confiado en mí para imaginar, planear, producir y editar este video. Y también a @adleigh.porter , que apareció como un regalo inesperado y decidió decirle que sí a lo desconocido, a la espontaneidad y a la aventura.

Este es el resultado de esa combinación de confianza, creatividad y magia. Uno video creado para un lugar verdaderamente extraordinario.

There are moments in life when all you want is to disconnect. To find a place that embraces you with peace, nature, and beauty in every detail.

A place where handcrafted pieces tell stories, where the warmth of wood gives every space a soul, and where sunsets seem to slow down time. A place with spacious, thoughtfully designed rooms, where every corner invites you to breathe a little deeper and be fully present.

Mawimbi is more than just a hotel. It’s a place to renew yourself, reconnect with who you are, and remember everything there is to be grateful for.

I want to sincerely thank the entire Mawimbi team for trusting me with the opportunity to imagine, plan, produce, and edit this film. And to @adleigh.porter , who came into this project like a gift, saying yes to the unknown, to spontaneity, and to adventure.

This is the result of that trust, creativity, and a little bit of magic one of the projects I’m most proud of, created for a truly extraordinary place.

Confíen en la magia de lo desconocido. Confíen en la espontaneidad. Confíen en la incertidumbre.

Hablen con desconocidos en la playa. Digan que sí a ese plan inesperado. Súbanse a un velero sin haberlo planeado.

Porque cuando uno deja de querer controlar cada detalle y aprende a confiar, la vida empieza a sorprenderlo. Empiezan a aparecer esos momentos que no se pueden explicar, solo vivir.

Y eso fue exactamente lo que pasó este día: una tarde, un atardecer y una serie de coincidencias tan perfectas que parecían magia. Pero tal vez la magia siempre estuvo ahí; solo hacía falta estar dispuesto a encontrarla.

Talk to strangers on the beach. Say yes to unexpected plans. Hop on a sailboat without overthinking it.

Because when you stop trying to control every detail and simply trust, life starts to surprise you. That’s when the most unforgettable moments happen the ones you can’t explain, only experience.

That’s exactly what happened this day: an afternoon, a sunset, and a series of perfect coincidences that felt like pure magic. But maybe the magic was always there. All we had to do was be open enough to find it.
