🚨 VISTA IRRIGATION DISTRICT UNANIMOUS OPPOSITION TO THE POWERLINK! 💧

TODAY, the VID Board of Directors adopted a formal resolution opposing SDG&E’s proposed Golden Pacific Powerlink 👏🏼

Citizens from Fallbrook, Palomar Mountain, Warner Springs, Anza-Borrego and other communities came together to applaud the Board for taking this important EARLY action.

This is a significant victory, but it’s also a call to action…

Other governing boards, public agencies and community organizations: NOW is the time to take a stand and represent your communities while the project is being shaped.

NEXT UP: Fallbrook Public Utility District will consider similar action on Monday, October 26.

Christine, along with her husband Steven and their rescue pug named Cheddar, enjoy organizing free events for their San Diego County pug community group, Squishy Pup Meetup. Together they host monthly yappy hours, rescue fundraisers, and major parade entries across the county with the goal of spreading joy wherever they go. @squishypupmeetup

THANK YOU MY GIRLS 💖

Last weekend my girls drive down from LA to take me out for my birthday, and - after 1 year and 9 months after I moved out of LA - I finally got to show them around our lovely village, the vineyards @adobehillwinery @monseratewinery , the avocado orchards, the pug sanctuary.

My work as a pug rescuer is all encompassing, it's 24/7, and there is never personal time. This year I lost my pug soulmate, and it's been a really rough year for me. This day was much needed.

I am so very grateful to my beautiful friends for making the drive, and the time to make my birthday so special .. for the laughs and the love. Dziękuje dziewczyny, you are the best! 😘😘😘
