There is something so grounding about stepping out of isolation and into a room where your ideas finally have space to breathe. 🤎☁️  Last Sunday, we brought our signature in-person Head in the Clouds™ co-working session to The Lucky Goat Coffee Co. on Eldorado Pkwy. Between structured Pomodoro focus blocks, an incredible soundscape curated by Dallas DJ of the Year DJ NaturalHiiigh, and complimentary Fall Sip tasting flights from the counter, our community showed up to build, connect, and protect their peace. Spaces like this remind us that independent creation doesn’t have to mean lonely execution. A massive thank you to the incredible team at Lucky Goat Coffee Co. (@luckygoateldoradopkw) for opening your doors and welcoming our creatives with such warmth. We are just getting started. Hit the Follow button so you never miss an update on our upcoming Wednesday co-working residencies, virtual labs, and community programming! Let’s build the table together. ✨ 🔗 Link in bio to explore the ecosystem. 📸: @adopeblackcreative #ForCreativesByCreatives #FCBC #HeadInTheClouds #LuckyGoatCoffee #DFWCreatives CoworkingCommunity BlackCreatives

@renderatl Day 2 ✨ Day 2 was a little business and a little lean wit it, rock wit it 😂 Made my way through the expo hall, ran into a couple of my clients, and then sat in on a Law + Tech session about intellectual property. And listen… if you’re building a business, a brand, ideas, ANYTHING, you need to know about IP. I saw a Black woman attorney teaching the session and said yep, this is where I need to be. 😂🙌🏾 I wanted to see if I’d learn anything I didn’t already know, and baby, I definitely did. Such a good session and a reminder that knowing how to protect what you’re building is just as important as building it. Then that night it was RenderHaus with D4L and Dem Franchize Boyz. Listen… when “Laffy Taffy” and “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” come on, what exactly am I supposed to do? 😂💃🏾 Learn something. Protect your work. Then go have fun. Day 2 at Render ATL. 🖤 #RenderATL #RenderHaus #RenderFest #CreativeEntrepreneur #WomenInBusiness

@renderatl Day 1 🎥✨ Two weeks later and I’m finally making it through the camera roll 😂 After speaking on stage, it was time to actually enjoy Render. Mingling through the exhibit hall, catching up with people, then straight to Render Fest for Lloyd, Young Joc and a little too much fun. 😂 Because I can’t be all business all the time. Somewhere in between, I put on the VR goggles and a couple AI zombies definitely caught some strays. 😂 Clearly the instructor thought I was having a little TOO much fun in there. Speaking. Connecting. Dancing. Fighting virtual zombies. A very accurate summary of Day 1 at Render ATL. 😂 Day 2 loading… #RenderATL #RenderFest #TechConference #CreativeEntrepreneur #WomenInTech

I’ve been reviewing student portfolios with the Dallas Society of Visual Communication since 2018, and every year I leave feeling inspired. 🖤 Last month’s National Student Show reminded me so much of why I started CK Campus. These students are talented. They’re creative. They have ideas. They have vision. Sometimes they just need guidance, confidence, exposure, and someone willing to remind them that their creativity can actually become a career. Mentorship matters. Representation matters. Access matters. This is bigger than design. It’s about helping the next generation see what’s possible for themselves.
