Living well

Working my way through my sketch book making all the things I have been dreaming about including this phone case. Has anyone else been feeling extra creative lately?! I feel like everything is happening but it’s important to be present and actually enjoy the parts of life worth living.

Reworking old classics. The top one is the first wallet I made myself, over 8 years ago, all handstitched. The bottom one is the new improved version. Now with card pockets, a zipper pouch and solid brass hardware. Handmade Buffalo Nickel snaps made by yours truly. Love how well loved my wallet is and it’s still functional and honestly I love how it’s patina’d.

It only took me three years but I finally finished this bag. Started this project in January of 2020 using up a bunch of my leather scraps then forgot about it. Swipe right to see a little bit of my process. More to come! This is a small version of the ones I will be making, available for sale @mixtapepdx $120 SOLD

For years I have been saving busted Indian & Buffalo nickel snaps and rivets. Finally decided to repurpose them. Made them into snaps for my keychains.
