✱ Trial&Error
The official Recycled Creativity organizer Trial&Error swaps skills, knowledge and space in exchange for people’s time, willingness to learn and creativity. They offer workshops by using a range of materials - all found, dumpster-dived and rescued from a sad ending – and then transformed into a new funky life. Follow them around the city at various events and festivals!

〣 TonneTeppich
Transform your old clothes into a comfortable seat cushion. From bed linen to towels, pillows, socks and jackets: everything can be woven and become your own personal keepsake. TonneTeppich can also be used for mourning, as the clothing left behind can be transformed into a memorial pillow.

A little look at our dreamy textile arts summer camp in Leiden, Netherlands💕

We had the best week teaching youth about the fashion industry and inspired an appreciation for textile arts!

We also took time in the evenings to explore the beautiful nature and beaches. What a dream! Thanks for watching! ❤️

MEET THE CREATORS: Adore Textile Arts is an education focused collaboration by Caitie Wagenknecht and Alice Tsibulsky. Both artists and educators, the two are long time friends who met in Toronto, Canada, and bonded over sewing and sustainable fashion. This July, @adoretextilearts is hosting two summer camps for kids ages 8-12 in Berlin and Leiden in the Netherlands. The camp is in partnership with @FashionTakesAction, and will incorporate some @myclothesmyworld lessons and activities, to help youth explore the social and environmental implications of the fashion industry. Caitie & Alice are excited to bring hands-on textile arts activities like natural dyeing and upcycling, as well as fun camp games and theater-style activities, in an effort to inspire creativity and an appreciation for clothes and what it takes to make them. Head to their account @adoretextilearts for more information on the camp and how to register!
