Cruising into year 2 of alcohol sobriety, never thought I would be strong enough to even say that, and now I know I have always done what seems to be impossible things, because of the way God loves me.

HE LOVES YOU TOO💞💞💞!

Remember this as you start your day! Remember that when something’s don’t go as planned. Remember that in your toughest days and your happiest moments!

Then believe it!

So thankful for my church family @prepcityministries2 for the support and love they have poured out to me and my family this year. It’s been one of the toughest years in my life…and if you know me, that’s saying a lot lol

Last night at Prep City’s annual Holiday Christmas Sweater Social, Min @adranafrance , our esteemed First Lady, extended a tremendously thoughtful prayer to me and my family in regards to this first Christmas without my dad. I received this post from a dear friend, @randolphsturrup , today, who is also grieving, and I thought to pay it forward to everyone out there who is experiencing this tragic “first.”

I thank God for my Pastor, @dr.afrance22 , for reminding me throughout this year that the best way to navigate this season of grieving is to keep my eyes on God. As I follow God, trust and obey His voice, and remain committed to the call He has placed on my life with consistency and compassion, I WILL heal. He reminds us often in worship service that God is our refuge and honoring our assignment in Him is what keeps us. He preached recently to remind ourselves of THAT GOD who pulled us up before and will certainly do it again…bigger and better 🙏🏽

To all grieving a loss this Holiday season, be it recent or years past, know that I am praying for you in solidarity. 🎄I Declare and Decree that You and I, together, will grow through this. God’s Grace is sufficient for all things and Love ALWAYS WINS ❤️

Merry Christmas,
Deacon Ashley McFarlin,

I’m excited to announce that I’m an ambassador for Pink Tuesday which looks to support those experiencing period poverty. This campaign is hosted by @adranafrance . I have joined the campaign as a Dietitian that focuses on hormone health in women, period poverty is something that can be often overlooked or not talked about.

What is period poverty: Period poverty refers to the inability to afford or access menstrual hygiene products, such as pads, tampons, and menstrual cups.

1 in 5 girls miss school as a result of not having access to period products

All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Glow’s Period Plus program which provides free products to its program participants and community partners. If you would like to donate, please go to www.adranafrance.com
