Today’s hike wasn’t just about reaching the destination—it was about remembering how far we’ve come. We honored our freedom, our resilience, and every sacrifice that made this journey possible. As we walked these trails, we also walked into new beginnings, trusting that every step, every challenge, and every climb is preparing us for something greater. May we never stop moving forward with gratitude, purpose, and courage. Happy Juneteenth. ❤️🖤💛💚 #SummitSeekersHikingClub #MoreThanAHikeItsAMovement #Juneteenth #KeepClimbing #ADRFTOutdoor

People often ask me why I love hiking so much, and the answer is simple: it helps the mind, body, and spirit.

🥾For the Mind: Hiking teaches you resilience. There will be moments when you’re tired, uncomfortable, or ready to turn around. Every time you keep going, you’re strengthening your mental discipline and proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you thought.

💪🏽For the Body: Hiking is one of the best full-body workouts. It strengthens your heart, improves endurance, builds muscle, challenges your balance, and gets your body moving the way it was designed to move.

🌿For the Spirit: There is something powerful about being surrounded by nature. The fresh air, the sound of the water, the trees, the mountains, and the stillness have a way of calming the nervous system, reducing stress, and helping you reconnect with yourself. Nature reminds us to slow down, breathe deeper, and be present.

Every trail teaches a lesson.
Every summit builds confidence.
Every step is progress.

That’s why hiking is more than exercise. It’s therapy, healing, growth, and self-discovery all wrapped into one experience.

More than a hike. It’s a movement. 💛

🏃🏾‍♀️🌎 Global Running Day + Scenic City Hillz Club = the perfect combination.

This evening wasn’t about pace, distance, or who finished first. It was about showing up, pushing ourselves, and building a stronger community one hill at a time. 💪🏾⛰️

From first-time runners to seasoned athletes, everyone tackled the hills, encouraged one another, and left stronger than they arrived.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated Global Running Day with us. Watching Chattanooga come together to move, sweat, laugh, and grow is exactly why we started this club.

Missed this session? No worries! Join us every Wednesday at 7 PM at Standifer Gap Park. Ages 8+ are welcome, and all fitness levels can participate.

And of course, post-workout recovery wouldn’t be complete without fresh cold-pressed juices from @sheynaturalhealthbar . 🍏🍋🥕🥤

See you on the hill next week! 🙌🏾
