Style is always one step ahead — so are the people shaping it. @theathletesfootusa x @saucony brought “Style Isn’t Static: Back to School Edition” to Atlanta with a conversation celebrating the next generation of creative voices including four standout SCAD Bees who shared their perspectives on creativity and the future of sneaker design: Adrienne Archuleta (B.F.A., illustration, 2026) Trevor Lloyd (B.F.A. fashion marketing and management) Caliyah Kay Valentine (B.F.A. fashion marketing and management) Andrew Yi (B.F.A., UX design, 2025) Repost @theathletesfootusa 🔁 @yieeker is a SCAD grad and bespoke sneaker designer who makes and mends footwear from the ground up. That young-craftsman perspective is the disruptive energy this panel needed, a reminder that great style starts with what’s underneath it. @caliyahkay is a stylist and a leading voice in Atlanta’s female streetwear scene, with a community that moves when she does. Her eye is shaping how the next generation of women show up. @trev.lloyd_ is a SCAD student studying fashion marketing and management. A former assistant manager at A Ma Manière and founder of his own brand Sangre Real, he is also a Fashion Scholarship Fund recipient and a Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholar. His story is one you’ll want to hear firsthand. @adri.alchemy is a SCAD-trained illustrator, sneaker designer, and one of the few women to complete SCAD’s sneaker design minor (the first of its kind in the U.S.). She’s designed for the Serena Williams Design Crew x Nike, showcased at the SCAD FASHION runway show, and founded the SCAD Sneaker Club — she’s a trailblazer and community builder. Jinseo Park’s thesis collection, Bring the Bright Future, explores hope, resilience, and the belief that brighter days emerge after periods of uncertainty. Drawing inspiration from the 2024 Korean candlelight vigil, the French Revolution era, and late 19th-century Korean heritage, the collection celebrates femininity through couture craftsmanship and thoughtful storytelling. Natural dye techniques using yulpi, pomegranate, and black beans evoke the glow of candlelight, while delicate beading, flower smocking, and organic voluminous silhouettes visualize hope after chaos. Rooted in Jinseo’s Korean background, elements such as the Dangui are reinterpreted in modern couture forms, creating a collection that bridges heritage, optimism, and meticulous garment construction. what an honor it is to spend 4 years studying what i love! i’ve always had tunnel vision when it comes to my dreams. all i knew was that i wanted to create for a living. my certainty has guided every step. @scaddotedu was the ONLY school i applied to during my time there, i’ve had the privilege to work amongst beautiful and talented people, travel, lead, and grow both as an artist and person. saturday, may 30th i graduated summa cum laude with a B.F.A in illustration with a minor in sneaker design from savannah college of art and design. one day you’ll see my work everywhere thank you to my mom, my professors, my friends and everyone along the way when you surrender to your heart, you will always succeed <3
