DSW Triathleten triumphieren beim Frankfurter Halbmarathon 2025.

First Race of 2025 @frankfurterhalbmarathon yesterday 🏁
For me it was the second participation in the race but unfortunately also the second disappointment 🫠
The preparation has been far from ideal since knee pain in the last couple of weeks held me back from doing more running volume and more specific workouts. With that in mind I still hoped that a time around 1:14-1:15h would still be possible and until km 13-14 the pace was there and the feeling was good. After that it went bad really quickly, my thigh started cramping and as I got slower I also lost my pace group. The last 3k have been a real battle to keep running while the pace kept dropping. Coming home with 1:16:49 was definitely not what should have been possible but I’m still happy I pushed through and finished that thing! On the positive side, that was just the first race of the season and I’m sure the next ones will be better. Congratulations go out to @las.ko, @nils_huckschlag, @adriaenvc, @tri_ron_, @timo.laeuft1 and @neletastisch for their strong PBs!

Frankfurt Halfmarathon. Seen some of you… and saw many PBs and fast splits from my athletes ☝️🫰💪.

Have a good rest, from your fast legs 😅.

One week to go!

And even though we haven’t even driven 1 kilometre, it’s quite astonishing how far we’ve already come. €7378 - that’s how much has been raised for Second Home Kololi, thanks to you all! 🙌

There is still time to support, finish is foreseen on 26/10, so head to the link in bio if you’d like to see this number grow even more!

That was so much fun!
Waterlevel was low so a lot of dolphin dives at the start, getting the heart rate up very quickly after a short "warm up". The bike had the motto protect @fynn.992 who then went on to run into 2nd and @adriaenvc and myself ran into 5th and 6th place. Finishing the Regionalliga Mitte in 1st place for the day as well as the whole season ranking.@dsw12.triathlon

Thanks as well to @hahn.leo and Finn Sauer for the great team atmosphere and @lm11_1211 for spectating and supporting.
