Momentum is everything.

From a pure physics standpoint I’m sure it’s an important force(?), but tbh I barely passed physics class back in high school (too many numbers involved).

I’m more referring to the ~feeling~ of momentum. How 10 miles per day is easy after you’ve been building for 6 months (sometimes easier than a day off). How pursuing excellence feels natural when you’re surrounded by like-minded coworkers who have the same vision and work ethic. How going on dates gets less scary when you did it nearly every day the week prior.

It’s hard to start from scratch. I’ve found it’s easier to run 20 miles with @purpledragonsatx than to slog out a solo long run (probably why I don’t do those anymore). But when you’re building off of what you did before, the growing gets exponentially faster.

Part of the reason I got my BVOS tattoo on my forearm was so that I’d see it every day. Each night acts like a reset, and this tattoo reminds me of the momentum I was building the day before.

Momentum is building. Let’s keep the ball rolling🪩

Still thinking about this @lululemon ambassador retreat 🫂✨

There’s something special about being in a room of high performance individuals and community leaders, and being invited to stop achieving for a moment…

And as much as I’m cheesing here, being asked to get quiet, get still, and actually listen to what I needed was a little uncomf…🫪

There was no next thing to accomplish, no problem to solve, no place to perform. Just space to actually check in with ourselves. 🩶

We talked about what’s been sitting on our hearts, uncovered what we need in order to let go of what we’ve been carrying, and journaled about what we’re calling in for the year ahead 🤸

We moved through it all in the most warm and special place, @driftwooddome ✨

When I say the moment I stepped foot into this space I felt at home, I mean it!!! The energy in this dome is tangible magic. 10/10 recommend 🤌🏽

@solsearching held us in the experience start to finish and was not afraid to play in the discomfort of slowing down…we may or may not have howled a few times (iykyk) 🐺

And to have a team of badasses to ground me, challenge me, and truly see me is something I am forever grateful for 🫶🏽

This was the reminder I needed that you can’t keep pouring from a cup that you don’t take the time to fill!! 🗣️
