🦄 Garbicz Festival 2026 🦄

It’s a dream to share this set with you all, a sound journey to lie back and travel, with no time, no mind. Such an inspiring collaboration with Amapola, as she shared her spoken words in that moment. And I also had the chance to share sound recordings from my last trips.

Thank you @garbicz_festival , thank you Ambient Floor, and a special thank you to @giulianna, an incredible host and the creator of this wonderful space, where magic happens through connection and art ♥️

Here some things i learnt about being lonely:

I see myself as a somewhat hermit, who mostly enjoys being alone. Simply moving without a group, feeling the independicy of not being attached to people.
Somewhere being scared of being left behind and witnessing heartbreak I suppose, of letting people to close to my chaotic life.
Where loneliness mostly comes up in times of groups, feeling disconnected to the people.

But recently realized that i no longer feel that way. I don’t feel like i have to do it by myself anymore, I feel like sharing, I feel like letting loose a bit and every connection I am forming and showing myself fully, makes me feel ugly but also very seen & free! Deciding with whom I wanna be🩰🐝

1. As cheesy as it sounds: One feels "ugly" if by themself but as soon as you start to share ur „ugly“ sides and connect they are becoming less ugly but rather just real and possibilities of tenderness and love are being created.
Messy ugly and beauti-full🐦‍🔥
2. I used to think that I have to be there for everyone that this would make me a good person / friend but not allowing them to help me made them feel distant from me. So at some point I started sharing for their sake but realized quickly it is also very much for my sake❤️!
3.Also accepting that I might not be the right friend for every thing , that lovers can show up in different ways✨

Since some years i‘m having a list of people who step into my life and who have taught me some lessons on love. Every single one has shown me a bit more and made my heart grow fonder and fonder.
Lovers are changing and with time some are leaving and new ones are forming.

My lovers who i admire to the core! Who fight on a daily bases inner and outer battles, with whom I am greatful in this lifetime to ride with, enjoying every single second not just the highs.🎢

But this is a collection of highs, sharing the space with laughter and music bc everyone deserves some peace of mind💋 and a toast to learning and becoming🪇

Okujou Beat Salon invites you to Wohnzimmer!…

A space unfolds. Sound becomes movement. Movement becomes a journey.

Okujou Beat is a project for cosmic musical explorations – drifting between groove, trip hop, world music, kraut and ever-evolving electronic landscapes.

It was born from the close collaboration of Chikara Aoshima and Izumi Yamamoto, together with Johannes Heger, Moussa Coulibaly and Ulf Lundberg.

Tonight, Izumi Yamamoto once again moves between worlds – first as warm-up DJ ORIGINI, then stepping into the living organism of Okujou Beat on stage.

Together they generate a flow of hypnotic grooves, open improvisation and cosmic resonance – music that doesn’t explain itself, but carries you forward.

And when the last echo still lingers, Amapola takes over the decks and guides the night further – deeper into dance.
