The nerves, fear, happiness and adrenaline are all part of the journey and this sport captures each one from backstage to the ring. What an incredible Saturday 🥳

I achieved a long time dream of mine winning Gold at a major BJJ competition. And it doesn’t get much bigger than the IBJJF London International

I was up against a seasoned 6 time IBJJF competitor, so I knew I had to watch my P’s & Q’s… and I delivered🥇🥳

I’m genuinely proud of this moment. But the real message is bigger than the medal

Never stand still
Always move forward
Keep learning
Keep growing

The journey never ends.
In life the goal should be constant evolution

And as I look ahead, I can’t help but wonder 🤔💭… can I reach 40 years of competing in martial arts? Only two more years to go 💥🥊🥋🦵🏽💥 🤓🤔💭

It’s only when you are in the fight game do you truly see the amazing benefits and life lessons it constantly teaches. What a journey this little one is on, from the highs of her first fight to the incredible lows of her second. To witness all her teammates take the belt home and she leaves with nothing. To then realise she left with everything ….. ‘Lessons’. To take those lessons and jump on the very next available challenge. Train her little heart out and reap the ultimate reward…. ‘Success’. This is the fight game, the life game. Congratulations Kasey Girl, BIG things are coming. Watch this space 👊🏽

✔️TYQUAN is fighting out of the amazing FU JAU ACADEMY and is trained by Adrian Bedlow. Tyquan won the title belt on the last show, this is his defence fight. If he wins this then he moves up the Belt ladder. 🔥🩸

✔️CAMERON steps in to replace a previous fully out due to injury. He is fighting out of KYOUKEN and is coached by Alexei Roberts. Cameron is making his SFS Debut, and has been training like a Machine for his opening fight ! 🔥🩸
