Do you ever just wake up feeling super grateful! Sometimes I feel like I'm very behind in the rat race and it can be stressful. But sometimes you have to sit back and take a look at your life from a different perspective. I have the best friends ever, a family that loves me (who granted I need to talk to and visit more). A life style that 12 year old me would be stoked on. I wake up happy as a clam to go to work everyday, I live in arguably one of the most beautiful places on this earth and I get to experience things on the daily that most people only get to do once a year or never. I have a roof over my head and food in my stomach and a flexible career that allows me to do what I love.

It's so easy to compare yourself to others and think that you're a waste or unsuccessful. Especially in the sea to sky, where it seems so many are so succesful and it almost seems easy for them. But it's important to remember that we all have different struggles, and we're all dealt a different hand of cards and success should be measured by happiness and not by financial success or the type of career you have.

Anyways been feeling really grateful lately and the happiest I've ever been. To all my friends and my family, I love you guys, you're the best!

This year has felt like a few in one!

Living and working in Eastern Europe 🇱🇻

My worst bike crash followed by getting back on the bike.

For the first time: freediving, ocean fishing, working on a military base, getting into professional avalanche courses with OPS1/AVSAR1

Ticking some long term alpine wants despite being in an alpine less country for most the year: Mt.Adams, Tantalus in a day, Armchair, WAPTA.

Exploring Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Canary Islands, Morocco, and of course all around the West Coast of Canada and the States.

Thankyou to those by my side this year ❤️ the friends I made and the friends that carried me through with hand written letters. That support shown from across the globe will never ever be forgotten.

& last but certainly not least: @adrianbernava for his relentless support and for being a massive part of everything positive this year ❤️

Happy birthday to me 👑 This shows a lot of highlights but it was really frickin hard in parts and I'm proud of myself for this one 🎂 Photo by Lianne on May 22, 2026. May be an image of campsite, outdoors and text.

Capped off the winter season with such an amazing trip! Mt. Holoway to the Durrand Chalet. Had such an incredible group of homies absolutely getting after it, including a possible first descent down Mt. Sissons S face.

This is up there with some of the most technical ski guiding I have done. Broken glaciers, challenging cruxes and rad ski lines, I’m sure I’ll be back! Thanks boys!!! @unterbergerdominic @crenzoni @adrianbernava

If you’re interested in a trip like this please reach out! :) more to come

Around a year ago Adrian and I did a back to back Mt.Adams SW chute to Mt.St Helens Worm Flows and itll forever be one of my favourite memories 🙂 both for the skiing but also the million moments in-between.

Winter always seems to fly by! Always searching for that powder turn and good times. Damn we’re lucky!

Two months ago, one of the last things I did in Squamish was the tantalus traverse. I was lucky enough for @stevetosky (aka Steve 'opps we just down climbed that rappel' Stosky) to agree to do to the Tantalus Traverse river to river with me. Although he could have shaved off (many) hours had he done it solo we made it in under a day together. Doing this was something I have been called to for a few years but weather or travel or life has always come into play. I am so happy I was able to check off this backyard classic before going to leaving to Europe.

Of course the physical challenge, the awe of the Tantalus range itself and the multitude/magnitude of terrain covered in a day makes it memorable. However, what sticks out the most in my brain is @_chrispond (Mr. Rivers)and @adrianbernava waiting by moonlight at 1AM with fanta, watermelon and pizza. They waited for hours under the midnight moon to pick us up via boat. I will forever remember this day as I day I felt very rich. Rich to have the skills to finally achieve this goal, an alpine partner with loads of patience, an incredible boyfriend to sneak this tiny note into my snacks, and amazing friends to pick me up.

Last photo is a bonus photo of me on Alpha a few years back, which is always fun to stand on one mountain and look at others you've been on.

My bachelor party weekend was UNREAL. Thank you all for traveling to be there, and especially to my best man @tinkeringblyth for understanding that a 2week old son at home is no excuse to miss drunkenly risking our fingers with beach fireworks 😘 I will cherish these memories forever, especially those that I heard secondhand. The three day hangover was definitely worth it, but only because it ended when I found a little furry bachelorette gift for my lovely future wife.
Thanks for being our people, see you in May 💜

Wknd Recap: Class is in session!

A weekend well spent sharpening the tools and practicing the skills we hopefully won’t need to use in a pinch this winter! Thanks @shephowatt for trekking to the coast to witness the incredible early season snowpack on offer 😂
