🎶 Local watering hole and music venue @LasRosasMiami reopened in August 2025 after going dark for several years due to the effects and aftermath of COVID. Since then, it has once again carved out a safe haven for Miami’s local music and creative scene.

This past weekend, the iconic punk dive bar celebrated one year since its reopening with a robust lineup of local bands, and even a mechanical gator for the Florida swamp goths to ride.

We caught up with some of the key people behind Las Rosas to reflect on just how wild their return really was...

In honor of Las Rosas 🌹 celebrating one year, this one felt worth bringing back.

Last May 1, we kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month there with an idea that was part show, part community experiment: live music, a gratitude wall, a place to write down what you wanted to let go of; and a room full of people who actually leaned into it.

Looking back at these photos, the music almost feels like only part of the story.

People showed up. They wrote things down. They shredded things. They danced. They connected. We got loud.

Happy one year, Las Rosas. Thanks for giving Miami a place where ideas like this can exist. 🥀

Turns out therapy with a horn section kinda works.

Thank you @liljadephotos for the photos

And a huge thank you to @adrianc31_ @solangebetsabeth @thelostexplorer
@rudeapologies @trippinganimalsbrewing and everyone at Las Rosas.

Soon to be one year. Countless shifts. One incredible team.

As we approach our one-year anniversary providing entertainment security at @lasrosasmiami , we’re taking a moment to recognize the people who make it all possible. Seven days a week, our team shows up with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to keeping guests, staff, and the venue safe.

This video introduces some of the amazing men and women behind @alpha_securityoperations . They share what they do onsite and what it means to represent our company every single day.

We are incredibly proud of this team. Their dedication, work ethic, and professionalism are the reason we’ve built strong relationships and continue to earn the trust of our clients. Thank you to every team member for wearing the Alpha name with pride and setting the standard every shift.

Cheers to one year at Las Rosa’s—and to many more ahead 🫡
