Writer by day. Filmmaker by night. Last Saturday was an absolute blast. First, I spent hours at Las Vegas Book Festival. One of their best events yet. I sat in on fantastic discussions about historical fiction, the publishing landscape, shirking Las Vegas tropes, and baring your vulnerable soul. I spoke in phenomenal company on the Horror, Thrills, and Chills panel. I met Tracy Wolff (twice) and chatted with her about vampires. And I even sold out of all copies of Comics Lit!

📕📚📖

As the day came to an end, I slipped out of my author tiara and indulged in some movie magic at Indie Film Factory, where Kelly Schwarze and Charisma Manulat shared a screening of their new animated works. It was
awesome catching up with friends, meeting new creatives, and witnessing the latest IFF art. Afterward, I met even more filmmaker friends at a 48-hour Film Festival mixer. This year's showcase should be awesome!

📽️🥂 🎬

I'm so blessed to be a part of these wonderful communities. Thank you @IndieFilmFactory for another great party. Thank you to @goldmanpenn for your festival support. And a huge thanks to @cityoflasvegas,
@nevada_humanities, and @nvartscouncil for our annual book festival and all you do to support local art.
