Failure isn’t the opposite of success but rather its predecessor. A seed to the fruits of triumph. The depths of failure serve as the deep roots to the trees of success and victory. L.R.M.

This year I re-learned that lessons play dress up and present themselves as losses, leaving us; the champions, a choice in perspective. Greatness is discernment activated.

We get to choose how we see our obstacles and shortcomings. They were stepping stones to the road to success, a confirmation, an affirmation; that all work, that every rep was a brick laid in our foundation. Fall 2026 champions. @themoderncrwd

It’s a wonder how anyone could be less than glorious when a King takes charge of their heart. Head of my Temple, baba mi has given me more reason to feel royal than any man on earth. Thank you for standing in front of me during my hardest battles. Thank you for guiding me during my toughest days. To all you children of Shango, May this day remind you of how good it is to be chosen by a King. May you always be led by integrity and let Ego burn in the fire that he is made of. To my God sons, May you always feel loved by me the way shango was by yemaya. Kawo forever and ever and ever.
