This is 54! This is my annual #AgeIsJustANumber post…when it’s true, it’s true.

Love being in my fifties and continuing to push myself during this transformation journey started when I turned 50. Celebrating the little wins, not always easy, still work to do (never ends haha)...

September has been all about connections ❤️

@blancaflorrr & @anagportillo visit last week was a blast, dinners with our favorite Frenchies in town, @touzeta & @perrinechapps finally catching up with @nicolajoubert44 and of course our annual BBQ with @pdegoede

Lots of love, birthday wishes, laughs and good times with friends. Here’s to more months like this!

But now… October... Time to dance!🪩

Summer mode: ON. With this heatwave in full swing, adding an early morning swim to my morning walks. Partly to cool down, and partly because it’s the perfect excuse to show off a little. Vanity first, right?
For now focus on the back... the front is still a work in progress. 💪🏻😂
Anyway, this is 53, with 54 around the corner. Age really is just a number.

Sometimes, all you need is a week off to recharge... and what a week it was!

A few days in Madrid, followed by full-on sunshine in Malaga. Reconnecting with one of my favourite people, @blancaflorrr , catching up with @loreberu the one and only Tigretona , seeing the incredible @kurios_cirquedusoleil , saying hi to Michael, bumping into @wittyfog and @martajimenezramos and of course spending time with @ansonsim73 , @anagportillo and more.
@microlandry I didn’t get the chance to say hello, but as always, you were amazing on stage!
Lots of love and laughter, endless walks, and yes... I even managed to squeeze in a few workouts. If this week reminded me of one thing, it’s that friends are everything. Surround yourself with people who make you laugh!

And sharing this with my better half was special!

BAM!

Reality check. Reset. As I step into year 4 of my transformation, and get ready to turn 54 later this year, it’s time for some self-reflection. I’m extremely proud of how far I’ve come. Working out 4-5 times a week, hitting my 10K steps daily, staying consistent… that commitment hasn’t changed. But the truth is, my nutrition hasn’t been where it should be lately. I don’t drink, I try to stay on track, but I know I can do better.

The past few months have been challenging at times: new job, new industry (one I can relate to… fitness! 😅), new routines. And my nutrition goals slipped a bit. But that’s part of the journey. Adjust, refocus, go again with the continuous support of one and only @coachcalvinpt to make sure I am where I want to be. Trust the process. Always. Science (😉)
