“Parents need to parent a little! I don’t want to see any more 12-year-old butt cheeks!” 😂 @trishafenimore says it humorously, but there’s a serious question underneath:

How did this become normal?!?

And this @adrianmarkovac is gold. He puts it: “Once something becomes normal, it’s too late.”

He explains that culture changes through gentle repetition—social media, music, influencers, advertising, entertainment and fashion slowly move the boundaries until yesterday’s shocking becomes today’s normal.

Hyper-sexualization is increasingly repackaged as “body confidence” and “empowerment”—even for kids.

Parents have to be willing to intervene. Sometimes loving your child means saying: No. We’re not buying that. You’re not wearing that. And then lovingly explaining why.

Your body has dignity. You are valuable. You are loved. You don’t need to reveal more of yourself for attention or validation.

And DADS! this is our responsibility too. Our daughters need to know their worth and hear it from the FATHERS!

It’s not just girls! Boys face their own cultural programming through porn, video games, meme culture, gambling and algorithms. This is something that is worthy of our time and attention and effort to combat!

Our kids are being shaped by something.

Parents need to stay engaged, set boundaries and help our kids understand WHY we aren’t simply going along with the culture.

Sometimes parenting requires a loving, unapologetic “NO.”

Let’s get the kids off phones and get Big Tech OUT of our kids pants! 🙏❤️‍🔥🕊️

This 2026 version of the World Cup has had some incredibly dubious moments on the pitch that call the direction that our world is headed into question.

At what point do we ditch our humanity to officiate a contest and cede our sovereignty to the technocracy? Does anyone else see how LAME sports have become adding the technological elements into the officiating, along with the crass commercialism in every contest? 🤔

@adrianmarkovac gets most of this right. Butttt I’ve got two things I’d push back on.

“If they wanted to, they would.” Look, I totally understand why people say this, but I think it’s more complicated than that. You can’t give what you don’t have. And neither can they.

If someone’s capacity for intimacy is limited by their upbringing, their wounds, the state of their nervous system, wanting isn’t always the same as being able. What actually helps is getting really clear on your expectations, your boundaries, what you need and what feels good. That’s not asking too much. That’s just being in a grown-up relationship.

And “don’t settle?” Yes. But let’s get specific...don’t settle for someone you don’t feel genuinely safe with. Don’t settle for someone whose company you don’t actually enjoy. Those aren’t high standards. That’s just the baseline!
