Last long run before @chimarathon . 🏙️🏃🏻‍♀️✨

The miles are done, the lessons are earned, and now it’s time to trust the training. 🤍

And somewhere between the early Sunday mornings, long miles, tired legs, chisme, laughs, y el “¿cuánto falta? ¿Como vamos? Ya, I’m done with this run! Chingao, ya no puedo! Tu dale! ” 😂… I gained a friend.

Gracias, Adri @adrirunschi ❤️ This marathon training gave me more than stronger legs it gave me a friendship I’ll always be grateful for. 🫶🏼

Chicago, we are coming for you. 💙🏙️

UPDATED DETAILS FOR SATURDAY 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We’ve had a lot of questions come in, so here’s everything you need to know for Saturday!

⏰ START TIME: 7:00 AM SHARP

Please arrive early so you have time to get situated, pull up the routes on your phone, use the bathroom, ask questions, meet other people, etc. We want to get everyone moving right at 7:00!

🏃 MARATHON • HALF MARATHON • RUN WHATEVER YOU WANT

You do not have to run 13.1 or 26.2. Run a loop. Run a few miles. Run for an hour. Jump in for part of it. Whatever you want to do, you’re welcome to join us.

💧 HYDRATION

We’ll have water and other hydration available at Resilient each time the routes come back through the gym. If you know you’ll need additional water, electrolytes, gels, fuel, etc. while you’re out on the trail, please plan to carry your own.

📍 ROUTES + NAVIGATION

Our loops/routes have been created through Strava and RunGo. RunGo is FREE, so if you don’t have Strava, you’ll still be able to access and follow the routes.

Before we start, we’ll have clickable QR codes available inside the gym so everyone can pull the routes up directly on their phone.

The routes are also available through the links in our Instagram bio (check them out ahead of time).

We’ll also do our best to have people stationed along the route to provide some extra direction and help keep everyone on track.

And lastly…

We truly can’t thank everyone enough for the amount of interest in this.

This started as something very small and very thrown together for a few of our members who didn’t get the chance to run their races last weekend. We had no idea how many other people would want to be a part of it.

So we’re doing our best to work out the kinks and make Saturday as smooth as possible.

It won’t be perfect. It might feel a little clunky at times. Please embrace that 😂

This isn’t an official race. It’s a bunch of people getting together on a Saturday morning to run, support each other, and do something they trained so hard to accomplish.

We hope you have fun, embrace a little bit of the chaos, and enjoy being around a whole bunch of other people doing hard things too.

See you Saturday. 7:00 AM. 🏁
