aren’t what you think…

They’re grown on grain 🌾And then blended in with the grain.

👉 Fruiting body = the real mushroom👉 Mycelium on grain (mycelial biomass)= mostly starch + filler, very little benefits

If you’re taking mushrooms for immune support, focus, or gut health…you want the compounds that come from the fruiting body 🍄
That’s where the real benefits are.

This feels like a real breakthrough moment for Bloomcap Naturals.

After a lot of quiet work behind the scenes, I’m finally able to share products that reflect the way I actually believe mushrooms should be grown, extracted, and used. Small batches. Real organic fruiting bodies. With love from start to finish. And now, independent potency testing to back it up by Eurofins 🍄🤌

If you’ve been curious about mushrooms but wanted something you could actually trust, this is for you. #medicinalmushrooms #adaptogens #holistichealth #lionsmane #reishimushroom

Bloomcap has finally began testing their mushroom powders at Eurofin. So proud to announce the Lion's Mane Fruiting Body Powder came back at 35% beta glucans by weight.

The beta glucans are what TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) primarily focused on for supporting the immune system and body as a whole.

I was also sure to test for Mercury, Lead, Cadmium, and Arsenic which all came back very low to low levels. Mushrooms are effective at absorbing heavy metals from the substrates they are grown on. This is why I use organic substrates. Thanks for following Bloomcap! Stay tuned for deals and discounts 🍄

I’m starting to realize the Italian heritage comes out of me through my mushroom cultivation experience.
I found myself slicing Reishi slimly from a fruiting block like an Italian cuts his prosciutto. Then today I found myself spinning the bottle after pouring each Petri dish with agar like an Italian does to keep from spilling his wine. More to come and new items to drop soon! Starting the day with a few drops of Lion’s Mane 🧠🍄
This one’s all about focus, mental clarity, and that clean, calm energy I need to move through the day with purpose.
I take mine straight under the tongue or in a splash of water—first thing in the morning, before food.
Let it soak in for 30 seconds for better absorption.
You taking your tinctures daily yet?
Drop a 🧠 if you’re riding the mycelium wave with me.

These Reishi antlers are ready to be picked 🍄✨
Once harvested, I start the first step of the dual extraction process: soaking them in lab-grade alcohol to pull out the triterpenes and other alcohol-soluble compounds.
Tomorrow, I’ll show you how I handle the water extraction to complete the process. Stay tuned 👨‍🔬🔥
#ReishiTincture #DualExtract #MedicinalMushrooms #MycologyLab #FungiMedicine #Adaptogens #FunctionalMushrooms #ReishiAntlers #MushroomExtraction #HolisticHealth #NaturalRemedies

Jumping back in the lab. Today I’m showing how to do petri to petri transfers.

Sterilizing scalpels, making clean transfers, and watching that mycelium thrive. I’m using an agar-agar + light malt extract blend for these Petri-to-Petri transfers — and the mycelium loves it. 🍄💥
If you’re curious about the recipe or how to pressure cook your agar plates, DM me — happy to share what’s working!
