LAST NIGHT WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL. 🖤💛

A room full of people coming together for one simple reason — to dance.

Different backgrounds. Different communities. Different levels of experience.

But once everyone was on the floor, none of that mattered.

People danced, laughed, connected and shared the night together — and watching it all come to life made me incredibly proud of what we’re creating.

This is exactly what Brisbane Dance Community is meant to be.

Not just another dance event.

A place where people can come together, feel welcome and belong to something.

Thank you to every single person who came along and helped make our first social what it was.

And this is only the beginning. 🖤💛

Many communities. One dance floor.

Come for the dancing. Stay for the community.

Throwback to our first competition of the year: the 2026 Crystal Classic Championship 💎

This year’s event was hosted at the newly renovated Logan Entertainment Centre in Queensland, and what a fantastic venue it was! 🙌

A huge thank you to @linmcfarlane and her incredible team for delivering such a spectacular event! Every detail was thoughtfully executed, creating an amazing experience for both dancers and spectators. With exceptional sponsors on board and an electric atmosphere, it truly had everything! 👏

Coach Chris partnered Nadine, Helen, and Emma - and all three danced beautifully 💃 We’re so proud of each of you!

Chris also completed his first interview as a sponsored dancer for @nyfashion_au with @dancesport_report 🎤✨ @chrisandjordan.dance

A big shoutout to the best MCs, Laurie and Di, who kept the day running seamlessly, and to Mark for adjudicating the competition 👏 @dilauriepeterson @markwilsonentertainer

Go GCD! 🔥

Already looking forward to doing it all again next year! 💫

From studio preparation to competition performance!

A quick studio moment before stepping onto the floor at Crystal Classic with these two wonderful ladies @hillkarenza & @petal_78

The costumes may change, but the focus remains the same - connection, movement & enjoying the dance.

✨Performance starts long before the music begins 🎶

Congratulations to the organisers and dancers for a fantastic start to the competition season at Crystal Classic.

It was wonderful to see such a great energy on the floor and so many beautiful dancers performing at their best. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with their hair and makeup over the weekend — it’s always a privilege to be part of your competition day.

Looking forward to the rest of the season ahead.

What an incredible day at the @adscrystalclassic Championship yesterday! ✨

We had a fantastic competition and were thrilled to win all of our events. We danced our hearts out and had so much fun on the floor.

One of the best parts of the day was spending time with the @learn.2.dance family and catching up with so many friends at the competition. The energy in the room was amazing.

A big thank you to @adsqueensland for putting on such a wonderful event. The venue looked absolutely beautiful and everything was so well organised. Definitely one to mark on the calendar!

We are also so grateful to our coaches and families for their support and encouragement.

Now the planning begins for the next event… QLD Open! 💃🕺

Thank you Rhett Salmon for your support and guidance and Emma Salmon for the beautiful hairstyle 🙌🏻🫶🏻🙏🏻
I love my purple dress designed by Tracey Welsh.
My next comp is unfortunately another three months away due to moving house (I sold my house in Sydney and bought one in Kingscliff within 10 days 🤪🤣) 🏠🥳 but I am looking forward to dancing at Outside Change again after three years.

A few quick questions about style, comfort, and confidence in @nyfashion_au suits 🔥❤️ Turns out a good suit doesn’t just look sharp, it changes the way you carry yourself.
