Summer 26 was baller
The more I learn, the more the Lord reveals to me how little I know, I think there's freedom in understanding that.

John 15:1-11 ESV
[1] “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. [2] Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. [3] Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. [4] Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. [5] I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. [6] If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. In July the Lord’s hand was so prevalent. We started a bible study for high schoolers on sunday nights. A few friends got baptized the same week I served in Memphis. What a sweet and laid back summer. College move in is in 3 weeks 🫣😆 LU see u soon!! 🔥

So someone wise told me recently it’s the job of a missionary to come and report back to the church post mission. Especially if the church was one to support said mission, whether it be through prayer, financial support, or even having part in raising the believer in the faith. So while I may not be home to testify of the Lord’s provision this past week, you can bet I will do it here for the world to see.

Street Reach Ministries is by far one of the best (my personal fav) missionary teams i’ve served with. Their entire goal is to proclaim the gospel through the streets of Memphis (and St. Louis but we were in Memphis) starting with the local children. We volunteered putting on Bible Clubs for the kiddos as well as other mission projects that allowed us to serve the people of Memphis exactly where they were at. The SR team takes care of everything so we can be present and solely focus on overflowing the love Christ first showed us.

This week was a blessing to me. I got to witness not just children but also my own team flourish in their faith. I saw people step up to their callings. I saw people go out of their comfort zones to meet new people. and I got to genuinely see my team lay their lives down for others. The only way any of this was possible is because we have the best example to follow in Christ Jesus.

and finally my favorite part to talk about, what the Lord taught me. The funny part is, I learned it’s not about me. Nothing that happened this week was a result of my own strength and ability. I am honored to he part as a vessel. I am even more glad that it wasn’t my own strength. A lot of the preparation I helped with was pushed aside, and Thank God it was because the Lord shined even more when we followed His lead. Even better, He is still leading even tho we’re not there. He is still working, tending the seeds that were planted. Using the short week we had to echo into hearts. To heal whats broken. To love and lead the lost. Thank you Jesus for being so good. Thank you that you know no boundaries. You break language barriers and walls put up.

"Oh, Adalee"...that's a phrase we have been saying for 18 years now. That phrase has had so many meanings to it...but since the beginning has been one full of love.
From the high pitch screeching cry showing just how much of a dramatic girl she was as a baby, to her picking on her brothers as often as she could, to her eyes watering from laughter after she has made some kind of joke that only her family would get. Oh, Adalee.
She has brought so much joy to this family from the very beginning. She loves big and will do what she can to help her friends.....but is also the epitome of "broke bestie" 😅. She loves the Lord more than anything (even when that has meant losing her closest friend) and has stood firm on who she is and Who's she is. Whoever she marries someday will have to be a strong spiritual leader that loves to laugh and can handle being picked on 🤣 She is such a special girl that means the world to her Momma. Oh, Adalee. Happy happy 18th Birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉
I love you more than words could ever describe.
If you see her out today, give her a big hug. She loves hugs. ❤️
