Sometimes I find it hard to find stillness in my life- and inspiration, stillness & boredom (time) are the key ingredients for my creativity to blossom. Although I don’t have luxury of being as creative as I’d like to be right now starting a new career as a year 5/6 teacher, I’ve finally found a sustainable path for me which is both rewarding on the day to day connecting with kids from a range of backgrounds while still finding time to live out my dreams of creating music that I love and that I’m proud of. Even though I’m 26 I don’t think it’s too late to still do the many things. I might just remain a solid all-rounder and never peak but that’s why life is all about trial and error. If you don’t try it- you’ll never know- and you’ll have regrets. On that note- the tune in the video is my song & it’s reached 25K streams which I’m really proud of. I hardly listen to my own music but it was playing in my bro’s car the other day and I asked him- who’s that playing? And realised oh man- it’s me- I need to stop and reflect on how far I’ve come, because I don’t see it.
