Excited to announce my Optics Division win at the @holosun Zero In Championship!

A big thank you to @ohshoot_sc and the @holosun crew for putting together such an outstanding match. This was hands down the most enjoyable match I’ve shot this year. Everything was exceptionally well organized, from the food provided for all participating shooters to the unique shoot-off experience and the rewards for the winners.

And the @holosun gold dot trophy? In my opinion, it’s one of the coolest trophies in competition shooting. I’ve never been one to care much about trophies, but this was one I really wanted ever since it was announced.

The trophy is a scaled up model of @holosun PROMAX that actually turns on!

In this match, I used my @czguns Shadow 2 with @holosun 507comp, @lokgrips grips + magwell, and ammunition loaded with @sleepinggiantbrass

@adventinnovative.store steel helped me run a clean stage

Mark your calendar for the upcoming movement class! In this class, I break down and explain complex movement techniques used in action pistol shooting. Lots of mind blowing knowledge and light bulb moments that explain how I actually do what I do! Registration link in bio!

Tried to dial in my mental game in this match — one of the many things to work on from nationals. Started the day with 2 no-shoots on the same target 🤣 But I bounced back, until I got 2 mikes on targets that needed some extra TLC (time, love, and care) 😭🤣

Regardless, I was able to stay locked in the rest of the match.

Factory Gun Nationals 2026

My experience at my first major was nothing short of incredible and eye-opening! I was lucky enough to watch and interact with some of the best shooters in the world.

So many lessons learned — from gear to prepration to, most importantly, mindset. Having mental grit was key to stay in the game. I made the mistake of letting bad hits or failed stage plans affect the rest of my stages.

As a competitor its frustrating. But, its part of the journey and I enjoyed every part of it! Im grateful for the opportunity and im leaving a better shooter nonetheless!

Scroll to see my stage runs in the order I shot them with some self reflection.

Stay tuned for a complete breakdown on my YT!

Thank you to my family and friends for supporting me in these crazy ventures.

Stage 5
A: 22 C: 6 D: 1 Time: 21.29 HF: 6.0592
137 (76.08%)

First stage of the match.
Fundamentals felt good. Draw, grip, reloads. Slight trigger freeze on the 4th target I engaged but overall I was happy with my execution.

Stage 6
A: 20 C: 11 Time: 28.63 HF: 4.6455
308 (64.20%)

Execution was decent. Reloaded at the wrong spot so l forced to reload twice but luckily it didnt affect much. Just needed to shoot sights pace. I was staring at the dot multiple times.

No ghost dot thanks to my @cmoresystems RTS2 🙌🏻

Stage 1
A: 16 C: 6 D: 2 M: 1 Time: 22.05 HF: 4.0816
332 (56.35%)

I worked on some long distance shooting in my training leading up to nationals but it did not show up here. I mike’d one of the targets down range next to the target only seen from the top of the range.

Steel at distance definitely needs more work you would have thought i was shooting paper if you closed your eyes 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stage 2
A: 12 C: 3 D: 1 Time: 10.94 HF: 6.3985
247 (63.75%)

This was a fun stage. Make ups on steel wasnt great. But happy I didnt tag the no shoots. Leaning out of the middle position fel

Every Nationals so far, the predictions have underestimated my level. I’ve managed to outperform every one of them.
