48 Sexistential hours in Stockholm, and we're still trying to find the words. We could talk for hours about @Robynkonichiwa's homecoming show at 3Arena, hearing her speak Swedish to thousands of fans, and how some lyrics just hit different live. We could go on and on about Swedish journalists interviewing us about our Robyn love and why This Party is Killing You! is still going after 14 years. But we’re still processing the best moment of the weekend: singing Sexistential with Robyn at @debaserklubben while an international crowd of Robyn fans lost their damn minds. So, here’s our attempt at putting it into words. We were playing Indestructible when we heard a little “hej hej hej” come through the speakers... and every single person in the club knew that voice and what was next! The sequined curtains parted. @Z_h_a_l_a and Robyn sang Zhala's new song, “Twin Clouds”. Next thing we knew, Robyn was behind the decks with us and singing Sexistential, letting us and the crowd hop in on some lyrics. We got hugs, cried a few happy tears, and blasted Dancing On My Own because the party was far from over. We’ve been doing this party since 2012, mostly in dark, sweaty backrooms and basements. We never imagined Robyn would learn about it, let alone show up—not once, but TWICE—to perform in these tiny, packed clubs, surrounded by the people who love her music most. An artist who commands sold-out stadiums, right there with all of us. This party was never about fame, clout, or being cool DJs. It’s about playing music we love for people who love it just as much. It’s about hundreds of strangers singing the same words, feeling the same feelings, and losing their minds together. Robyn is a music nerd, too, constantly evolving while staying true to her singular artistic vision. And like her, Robyn’s fans are gloriously unafraid to feel everything. We’re so grateful to Robyn, her music, and the remarkable community that has grown around it. The music brings us together. The people make it magic. This is our community, and we’re blessed to be part of it.

About us: We are @russmarshalek, @djchoycehacks, and @marleymagaziner, 3 friends who love music and playing music together. We’ve been producing and DJing The Robyn Party since 2012. Robyn brings together the best, nicest, coolest people, and her music has created a thriving international community of joy.
