"Just being together and having fun with our friends and family." That's what Emma and Cole said they wanted most from their wedding day. So that's what they got. They met on Hinge in 2022. They fell for each other over cats and mountain biking, the kind of love that grows through shared trails and years of small moments. Cole proposed at an enduro race, and Emma said yes mid-race, then went on to finish it. On their wedding day, they traded their wedding clothes for bike gear, rode down from the summit together, and brought everyone back home for food and drinks. Simple, exactly like they wanted it. ***SCHEDULE CHANGE! RSVP AS GOING FOR THIS RIDE FOR SHUTTLE COUNT. IF YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE RIG AVAILABLE FOR THIS RIDE PLEASE LET ME KNOW*** Betties, join me for another Mt. Spokane Shuttle Night on Thursday, June 25th, at 6 PM. This time, we'll be tackling Trail 140—an exhilarating top-to-bottom descent. We will be meeting at the Bear Creek lodge and rolling out as close to 6:00pm as we can. The trail gets dark in the woods, so I recommend bringing clear glasses for the descent. Important Notes: You will need a Discover Pass and there is limited cell service. Mt. Spokane is a true mountain environment—please ride within your abilities. It gets darker quicker in the woods and temperatures are cooler. About Trail 140 Expect 7 miles of thrilling downhill with breathtaking views from at the summit and Dr Suess Bear Grass ain't bloom. Trail 140 is black-rated and offers a mix of technical sections and flowing terrain: The first stretch features loose, large rock gardens, making for a rugged, exciting start. This will be challenging for some. The middle section is fast and flowy, with big berms to carve through. The final leg is steep and technical, requiring careful navigation through tight trees and root-filled descents. Who Should Ride? This ride is best suited for advanced riders and confident intermediates. What Defines an Advanced Rider? Advanced riders are experienced, confident, and highly skilled on black-rated trails. They excel in handling steep descents, tight corners, and technical obstacles like large rocks, roots, jumps, drops, and narrow singletrack. These riders possess strong bike control, balance, and adaptability, making quick decisions and thriving on demanding terrain. Black-rated trails require physical endurance, mental focus, and technical expertise, making them perfect for those seeking a high-level challenge and an opportunity to push their skills further. You'll also need a Discover Pass. Pin to trail head: Bear Creek Lodge https://maps.app.goo.gl/16Rz7nuMv8hxeZ1m9 Please reachout with questions!
