Layla’s progress singing “Dead Mom” from Beetlejuice. 💚🎭

She’s still working on this one, it wouldn’t be a Layla performance without the obligatory mid-solo “hoyk the trousers up” move. 😂 Every. Single. Time!!!

So proud of you, Sminks. Keep doing what you love. 🌟🎤💜

A little look inside our Leeds Industry Prep Associates Founding Company session with the fantastic West End pro Morgan Scott! 🤩

Taking inspiration from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, our Associates got stuck into an exciting afternoon of acting, improvisation and character exploration!

From experimenting with different voices and physicality to making spontaneous character choices, our young performers were challenged to think on their feet, trust their instincts and really commit to their performances!

And that’s what we LOVE about this kind of training. Watching young performers discover new sides to their creativity, take risks and grow in confidence with every exercise!

A huge thank you to Morgan for sharing his knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with our Leeds company!

Tame the Mane: SUCCESS! 😂✨

Some time with the amazing @louise_davies_91 at @urbanhairboroughbridge and somehow this mane has been transformed into actual hair instead of a wild lion’s nest! 🤣💇‍♀️

Layla is absolutely over the moon, and so am I! Thank you, Louise, for working your magic. ❤️✨ #adventuresoflaylamay #newhair #tamethemane #urbanhair

🌟🎭 LEEDS INDUSTRY PREP… WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY!

WOW! What an amazing Sunday with our Leeds Industry Prep performers! 🤩

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome West End professional Morgan Scott back to The West End Experience, alongside the fantastic Ellie-Rose Walker, for a brilliant day of professional musical theatre training!

🍫 Our Mini Associates kicked off the morning with Morgan, stepping into the wonderful world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, exploring singing, acting, characterisation and professional choreography!

💙 In the afternoon, our older Industry Prep Associates took things to another level, working with both Morgan and Ellie-Rose on material from MAMMA MIA! and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

From learning professional choreography to performing scenes, exploring characters and working on vocals, the talent, energy and acting in the room were absolutely INCREDIBLE! 👏

And to make the day even more special, we officially welcomed our SECOND LEEDS INDUSTRY PREP COMPANY! 🌟 What a fantastic start for our newest Associates!

We finished with a brilliant group Q&A, giving our performers the chance to ask questions, hear real industry experiences and gain valuable advice from the professionals themselves.

We couldn’t be prouder of everyone who joined us. The confidence, creativity, commitment and sheer talent on display were outstanding!

A HUGE thank you to Morgan and Ellie-Rose for such an inspiring day! ❤️ We’re so lucky to work with professionals like you both, who inspire and encourage the next generation of performers! @morgsscott @ellie_rose99

We can’t wait to share all the videos from this incredible day! 🤩🎭

LEEDS… WHAT A TALENTED GROUP! 💛🎭

WOW. What a way to launch Industry Prep Associates in Leeds!

Four hours. So much covered. And an absolutely incredible room of young performers.

This wasn’t just about singing, acting and dancing. From the moment they walked through the door, our Associates were learning what it means to work like a professional.

How do you walk into an audition room? How do you interact with a casting panel? What are they actually looking for? What changes between a dance call, a singing audition and a monologue audition? How should you set up a self-tape? What equipment do you really need?

Hannah gave our Associates SO much practical knowledge that they can actually take away and use.
And then we put it into practice.

Little Shop of Horrors choreography. Journey to the Past from Anastasia, working on acting through song and taking a performance beyond simply singing the notes. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory monologues, exploring character, choices and bringing text to life.

And the talent in that room!

So many of our Associates performed individually, from solo singing to monologue work, and we saw some seriously exciting actors and performers come forward today. We already cannot wait to see what happens as their confidence, skills and understanding develop month after month.

Hannah, we genuinely cannot thank you enough for what you brought to our very first session. The preparation, the professional knowledge, the honesty, the industry insight and the amount our performers took away from just FOUR HOURS was incredible. @hanwoodwardcreative

If that was session one... we can't wait until October for session two, and for our second Industry Prep Associate company to launch in Leeds!

AUDITIONS STILL OPEN! DM us for more info 🤩
#TheWestEndExperience #MusicalTheatreTraining #YoungPerformers #WestEndTraining #AuditionTraining

✨ AND THAT’S A WRAP ON MATILDA JR! ✨

What an incredible week with our Leeds Elite West End Summer Training Programme! 🎭⭐️

In just five days, this brilliant group of young performers went from their first auditions on Monday to performing a full production of Matilda Jr. for family and friends on Friday! ❤️

From Revolting Children and Bruce to Miracle, When I Grow Up, The Smell of Rebellion and so much more, the amount they learnt and achieved in such a short space of time was incredible. They took on new characters, learnt songs, scenes and choreography, pushed themselves outside their comfort zones and came together as one amazing company.

A huge thank you to our incredible choreographer Summer Eltawab and vocal coach Charlotte Webb for all of their hard work, direction and creativity throughout the week. Thank you for challenging our performers, bringing out the best in them and helping bring Matilda Jr. to life in just five days. 🌟 @summereltawab_ @charlottewebb_

And of course, the BIGGEST well done to our cast. 👏

You worked so hard, supported each other and brought so much energy and commitment into the rehearsal room every single day — and you absolutely smashed that final performance! 🥹✨

We hope you walked away feeling incredibly proud of everything you achieved, because we certainly are. ❤️

A huge thank you as always to our wonderful parents and families for your support and for trusting us with your young performers.

Five days. One incredible cast. One full production of Matilda Jr. 🎭✨

What a way to finish our summer. ❤️
