Well what can I say about this weekend!!!

An epic weekend, filled with lots of fun & laughter 🧡 🧡 🧡

My first ever trip to @these_girlsvan , with lots of first time experiences
From sleeping in the van on my own, to running park run for the first time since 2016 & my first parkrun tourism. To a zip wire over water, my first time trying paddle boarding (may have found a new hobby 🤣) & having a go on an aqua park, anyone who know me knows open water freaks me out but I can't help but saying yes to trying new things & boy am I glad I gave it a go.

In the evening there was a bring & share with live music.

What an amazing bunch of ladies, it's safe to say I will be going again to one of these events.

And none of this would be possible without the amazing @hollieandthevan I met her a few years ago at the NEC not long after we'd had the Marvin & she is the most wonderful hunan being, it took me until now to sign up to @these_girlsvan & all I can say if your thinking about it, just do it!! Wishing I'd gone along sooner 🧡🧡🧡

Home for squidges with my 2 favourites now 🧡🧡🧡

P. S. Thank you to @mamgu_meanders for the video & photos

And just like the were back from our bank holiday adventures to the beach, we started off at @candmclub Poolsbrook site near Chesterfield, this was a little stop off enroute to the beach. The site is within a country park just off the M1. In fact the country park where Marvin featured for @customcampinguk 🧡 (last picture)

After a night here we continued our journey east to the @candmclub Sutton-on-Sea site. What a fab site just 15 mins walk to the beach & a lovely walk along the front to Mablethorpe. Just what our soul needed some down time by the beach.

Oscar had lots of fun on the beach too 🧡

Tested out our new Olpro table 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Our trip to @candmclub Durham Grange site.
Great location to head into Durham & we even got the train to the Toon

We got the park & ride bus into the city where we explored the @durhamcathedral which is dog friendly.

We took the train to Newcastle on the 2nd day only 15 mins from Durham Station. We took Oscar around lots of parks & he even went to Newcastle football shop. Obviously we found a few watering holes on our travels.

It was just what we needed to unwind from what has felt like a long slog after our new year adventures.

Bank Holiday 2 days away, we headed to Fairbourne where we went this time last year as we were both in need of some sand between our toes & listening to the sea.

We arrive late lunch Friday & headed straight to the beach at Fairbourne. The beach is dog friendly so Oscar had the best time.

We stayed at the @campra_uk site, which is a fantastic little spot with a short walk to the beach. We found it on search for sites.

Saturday we headed to Barmouth on the train only 13 mins on the train or can be walked in about 1h20m, we jumped of the train early on the way back & walked the rest 😊

Can't wait for the long weekend, we've not booked anything & thinking of winging it 😬 Am I mad or will there be somewhere we can park our little Marvin.

What's everyone's plans?

This was a few weeks ago with friends in Derbyshire. We used our @solostove.uk whilst watching the northern lights do their thing & I tested out my new @passengerclothing sleeping bag coat thingy (which was epic round the fire & so warm) 🧡

Bring on the bank holiday adventures 🧡

Over a week ago since we headed to Ludlow for our Easter adventures 🧡 🧡 🧡

A little reel of some of the things we got up to.

We headed to @ludlowcastleofficial

Had fab lunch at Price's bakery

Sampled the local beer @ludlowbrewery

We stayed @morrisleisure just 2 miles from the castle

I love looking back at these & remembering our adventures. Gets me excited for planning our next.

This year we are going to venture further with us heading Scotland in a few months & hoping to do our first Europe trip 🤞🏻

What a weekend. Started our autumn season adventures 🍁🍂 with a trip to @candmclub Warwick racecouse site.

What a lovely site, we arrived around 1830ish & got set up, not a full set up Friday as I was off to play hockey Saturday at Warwick University, which is actually nearer Coventry 🤣
On Saturday (when back from hockey) we were treated to some pony racing before we wandered into town for some craft beers.
This weekend was all about chilling & it was so amazing to be back in the van.

@andydunn83 gave Marvin a little clean when we got back ready for his adventures to Chesterfield to pick up his covers from @customcampinguk

Everyday van driving, this was me on Saturday heading to hockey in Loughborough, we sold my car to have the van so I use the van to go to hockey games & training.

What a fab weekend
Hockey was cancelled Saturday morning so we called up @morrisleisure Oxon Touring Park to see if they had room for Marvin... And they did.
What a fantastic site with great facilities, plus a park & ride into Shrewsbury every 20 mins.

So much so we've booked for August Bank Holiday (our 21 year anniversary) as we know the folk festival is on & there will be lots going on in the town.

Once we'd pitched up we headed to town from arriving to pub in 30 mins 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

We headed to @tapandcan for there fantastic selection of craft beers with the added bonus of the rugby 🏉 on.

We tested out our new kettle & pans from @seatosummituk, really impressed with the collapable kettle & pans they save us lots of space in the van.

And Oscar had the best time can't believe he's been with us a year now, he always makes us smile & seems to be adapting well to #VanLife 🧡
