“Somebody, hold me too close... somebody, force me to care.” — Bobby Always the listener. Always the perfect bachelor. Cocktail in hand, smile in place, keeping everyone happy. 🍸✨ But for Bobby, the performance isn’t just about charm—it’s a survival tactic. When staying neutral is the only way to protect yourself, holding the room together becomes an exhausting full-time job. Especially when the world outside those apartment walls demands a choice you’re terrified to make. 🎭 Portrayed by @adventurous_afro #CompanyTheMusical #RenegadeTheatreCo #ThingsToDoInATL #CommunityTheatre

🕰️ April 26, 1970. Company opens on Broadway. 🎭 Its first audience wasn’t watching a period piece. They were watching last week’s news. That same year, in that same city: • the Beatles broke up 💔 • the first Pride march came up Christopher Street 🏳️‍🌈 • 50,000 strutted 5th Ave for Women’s Strike for Equality ✊ • Hendrix and Joplin died, devastatingly—three weeks apart 🎸 • the North Tower newly topped the massive NYC skyline 🏙️ 💋 💒 💕 Marriage, sex, and what a woman’s life was for were all being rewritten in real time — and Bobby’s friends are dinner-partying right through the middle of it. 🗺️📸 This is the world you’re about to step into. 🚇 COMPANY — Sept 17–27 · 🎟️ Reservation link in bio.

🟡 Mustard. 🟠 Rust. 🫒 Olive. 🔵 Dusty blue. Our costume designer @ghoulbabs stopped by rehearsal to share a few words about our looks for the show: “The psychedelic costumes in this version of Company match Robert’s opinion of relationships and his ‘crazy married friends’ while still being grounded in 1970’s realism.” 🎭 “Those good and crazy people, my married friends!” 🚇 COMPANY — Sept 17–27 🎟️ Reservation link in bio.

🔔 ding. That’s for you. 🎭 In comes company! Company opens with everybody Bobby knows showing up at once (and it never really stops). Doors, phones, invitations, people letting themselves in… The whole show begs the question: is being let in is the best thing that can happen to a person or the most terrifying?🍸🎂 We think it’s both. That’s why we picked it. Behind this production is a Marketing team that keeps showing up in new and innovative ways — @glynisabbott_ , @lalocavali , @sevdarjo , @rebekahekah , @thy_noble_steed and @mckenziemccart . 💛 No plot spoilers yet. No character reveals yet. Just the invitation. Letter💌 COMPANY · Sept 17–27 · 🎟️ Reservation link in bio!

In 1970, “phone rings, door chimes” meant someone was about to walk through your door. 📞 In 2026, your phone rings and you let it go to voicemail. 📱 That’s why we chose this show. ✨ Company is about a man with a full calendar and an empty apartment — every friend in the world, and no one he’ll actually let in. It won six Tonys in 1971 🏆 and five more in 2021, and Variety called it “in-tune with the currents of modern life.” The currents just got a lot stronger. We’re more connected than any generation that’s ever lived and we cannot figure out how to be less alone. 📖 Sondheim wrote that in 1970. He wasn’t predicting anything. He was just paying attention. 🚇 COMPANY — Sept 17–27 · 🎟️ Reservation link in bio.
