Sometimes the sketchbook isn’t about one idea, it’s about all of them at once.

Characters, weird faces, cartoon animals, movie nostalgia, and whatever else decides to show up on the page that day. No plan, no pressure, just letting the pen wander and seeing what crawls out.

Running into 2026 like…

A few years back I illustrated this for Men’s Health, riffing on the idea of “super” energy drinks. Still feels like the right visual metaphor for a new year.

Reflecting on a year of strong collaborations and purposeful work. Ready to carry that energy forward. Thankful for the editors, art directors, and clients who trusted the work I did and now I’m looking forward to all the great things coming to me this year.

I’d be remiss to forget to thank most importantly the support of my wife and kids and the amazing work my rep @levycreative did and still does for me.

This piece was for Sports Illustrated, imagining conference realignment as a full-tilt runaway train — mascots, money, traditions, and chaos all along for the ride.
