Epic weekend of medicine music in Sebastopol playing medicine music with Jens Jarvie and Aealuz and opening for CURAWAKA! So many joyful new connections, reconnecting with friends I hadn't seen in a long time, and delightful music making. Feeling so much gratitude for all the blessings of my life (and super exhausted too)

Sara Joy Gillbeau (@sarajoy.creates) has been a weaver of lyric and song since childhood. Classically trained in opera and piano, her journey eventually led her to rediscover music as a vehicle for true healing, using vocalization, sacred sound, and vibration as medicine.

She now writes songs from the depths of her being – weaving threads of mantra, devotional harmonies, and medicine music. In addition to sound, she expresses her artistry through traditional fiber arts like felting, spinning, knitting, and weaving, allowing songs to emerge in shared creative circles.

She is also a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Colon Hydrotherapist, and a Hatha Yoga teacher.

Sophya Ramirez (@almaconvoz) is a Colombian singer-songwriter, master teacher, and vocal guide with over 15 years of experience leading vocal and somatic practices around the world.

Creator of albums like Medicine Woman and Canto a Tierra, her background bridges contemporary jazz, Latin American rhythms, and Indian Classical Raga. Grounded in music as a vessel for self-healing and connection, Sophya creates sacred, immersive containers that help melt tension and cultivate intuitive vocal resonance.

We are thrilled to welcome soul folk vocal alchemist and song-catcher @aealuz to the Song of the Earth facilitator team! 🌿✨

AEALUZ sings for personal and collective transformation, serving a living ceremony through music. Her voice is a balm, a salve, and a sword—liberating illusion with sonic clarity while seamlessly blending elements of R&B, Jazz, Folk, and chant into a celebration of the sacred. Her transmission creates a field of deep remembrance, supporting us in exploring our true nature as love.

🌎 Song of the Earth is a 4-day retreat where we’ll explore the voice & song-creation as a pathway to healing, creativity, & connection with the living Earth. Together, we’ll gather for daily voice, movement, and embodiment practices, along with silent time communing with nature — opening as channels for the wisdom and energy of the elements, allowing that inspiration to move through us as song. 🎶

We’ll be nourished throughout with organic, home-cooked vegan meals set within a private 30-acre sanctuary in the Sierra Nevada foothills, featuring a three-acre swimming lake, hot tub, and elemental temples. ⛰️

📍 Grass Valley, CA

As we continue looking back on the beautiful moments we shared at the Second Annual Frequency Festival, we’re excited to share another collection of memories through the eyes of one of our gifted sisters.

Each photographer captured the festival in their own unique way, and we wanted to honor each perspective individually.

Today we’re sharing the beautiful work of Kelsey Erin Sky. Thank you, Kelsey, for capturing the heart, beauty, and spirit of these unforgettable days. Your presence and art was such a blessing to have with us.

With love and gratitude,
The Frequency Festival Family

In the moments of stillness that followed the festival, we found ourselves reflecting on all that we shared together.

The resonance of the festival cannot be captured in a single post. It continues to ripple through the hearts of all who gathered here, through every heart, every hand, and every footstep upon this sacred land.

Perhaps that’s why it took us a little longer than expected to share these memories… not because we forgot, but because there were simply too many beautiful moments to choose from.

Each photographer captured the festival through their own unique lens. Instead of trying to fit everything into a single post, we’ve decided to honor each artist’s perspective one at a time.

We’re beginning with the beautiful work of Kyer Wiltshire @kyerwiltshire . Thank you, Kyer, for capturing the spirit, beauty, and heart of the Frequency Festival in your gifted way.

Over the next few days, we’ll continue sharing the unique perspective of each photographer who helped preserve these unforgettable moments.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who co-created the Second Annual Frequency Festival.

To every musician, facilitator, volunteer, vendor, photographer, family, and every soul who traveled near and far to gather with us, thank you for bringing your presence, your gifts, and your open heart.

Frequency Festival is more than an event. It’s a living prayer. A space where music becomes medicine, art becomes ceremony, strangers become family, and we remember what is possible when we gather with intention.

Thank you for singing, dancing, praying, creating, serving, laughing, and weaving this beautiful field together.

Until we meet again, may the frequency we cultivated continue to ripple through our hearts and into the world.

With love and gratitude,
The Frequency Festival Family
