POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over a month late but I wanted to share some scenes from the recent Spain tour with the Kyle Lacy Band. We were really lucky to be able to see so many different parts of such an amazing, diverse country. The people, the food, the cities, the landscapes- all were beautiful and welcoming.

There were a few highlights, but maybe the best part was getting to really live inside the music- 10 shows of original music was a real treat, and the band locked in like never before. I feel so lucky to call everyone in this band collaborators and dear friends 💙🎵

It was a huge amount of work for everyone involved, and I’m grateful to the whole band and team who made it happen so smoothly and enjoyably.

@kylelacymusic thank you for this making this opportunity happen, for the songs that brought us to Spain, for entrusting me with your music, and for the chance to share some of my music with new audiences around the world. Thanks for leading this band and bringing the joy you play with to audiences wherever we go.
@aedamics thank you for the planning and logistical support, the Valencia day off, the vibes and commitment, and having this band’s back. And of course the singin, charm, and stage presence you bring!
@soul_chocolate @horace__phillips my rhythm section bros- y’all already know. Loved locking in with you guys on and off stage.

Gracias a nuestros nuevos amigos en España! Gracias por recibirnos, escucharnos, y mostrarnos su apreciación de música y cultura. Nos Daron un bienvenido inolvidable. Hasta lo próximo!

“The Record Hop” 💿

For Your GRAMMY® Consideration 💙

This, friends, is the album I have always wanted to make. I grew up on the sounds of the 50’s via the hybrid Neo-swing Punk Rock ’90’s. I have obsessed over the keening and crooning of early Elvis recordings, the bopping and bouncing Bill Haley and the Comets, the wild and wonderful voice and chugging piano of Little Richard, and Brian Setzer’s guitar tone and touch, for as long as I can remember.

These songs have taken us all over the country and overseas this year. And I’m so proud to submit my first FYC as a Recording Academy member. If you haven’t checked out The Record Hop- you won’t regret it! I’m so grateful to every single person who made this project live and breathe. I hope when my voting friends choose their picks for “Best Americana Album,” and “Best American Roots Song” , you’ll think of this album and @melandthetallboys “Frontier of Love”. SPREAD THE WORD, y’all!

Homecoming show Oct 6 at @arlenesgrocery

#backintheusa #tour

It’s still surreal to think just 2 short weeks ago we returned from across the ocean … the hardest and yet most rewarding tour we’ve ever done. I’d be honored if you’d join us on Oct 6 for this show to celebrate the music we’ve released this year and all that’s to come 🎶
