Entered my first ever [M40] 'Cross race. Started at the back, moved up, had some nice battles along the way. Epic conditions at Somerhill and a great atmosphere 🔥

Catching a earlier flight back tomorrow after that.

I was out walking the dog the other week overwhelmed by how much I felt I needed to do, but I don’t, maybe just two that’ll be it. It was like before and it’s that case of realising that time was had but biych move!

It’s all been great and I never thought it’d go like that after 2021, I have two goals left in cycling, that’s it, neither are going back. Maybe I’ll try them or maybe I won’t, I’ve done a lot of time on the push iron. A video can summarise. Next up I’ll be at Rouleur with @fiftyonebikes showing off my new Assassin which is pretty sweet shoutout @aeightbikeco

Big thanks to these Supported by:

Ready set for my second Mountain Race here in Turkey, the first edition of Taurus. Taking on 1,439km and 34,849m alongside Liam.

With Atlas and Rwanda under our belt, it’s familiar but what lays ahead surely will be the most challenging yet. See what the track brings one thing for certain is the stories and adventures will last a lifetime.

A new series of limited edition finishes. Limited Works gives us the freedom to explore colour and finish beyond the permanent collection. Designed and painted in small batches in Dublin.

Each release begins with a distinct idea, developed for a selected FiftyOne frame and produced in small batches for limited number of allocations. In this case, 51 allocations, of course 🤷‍♂️ Once those allocations are gone, the finish is retired. Limited Works moves on.

Release 001 brings our boldest production finish yet to the Sika. The bike that challenged what a modern performance road bike could be.

Available across just 51 allocations worldwide.

Limited Works Release 001 drops tomorrow.

Did a nice easy 2 hour Sunday spin today. Punctuated by the Catford CC Hill Climb! 👊
.
I can confirm that a years worth of poncing around on a gravel bike is NOT prep for a 2 minute all-out hill climb effort!
.
Was lovely to see so many younger riders and a quality senior field, on one of the best races anywhere in the world. Had a blast chatting with mates, and heckling the fastest riders 🚀

The best bit was the recovery pancakes 🥞

Friday 5pm down tools. Head south accross Æskrdun. Meet some freinds. Head up onto the hill. Chill, eat, sleep. Saturday spin down the road for coffee, to meet Pip and the dog. Do another lap of the Hill. Second breakfast. Head back north on some new and some old roads. Refresh, replenish. Sunday pancakes. Head east accross the Weald. Catch up with the outlaws. Finish a lap of the lake. Head back home on my favourite trails, past my favourite tree. Drink beers 🍻
