POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just finished my last week living in Charlotte, and what a ride it’s been. I’m so blessed to have started my professional career in the city that shaped me as a broadcaster, and more importantly as a person. But now it’s time to fly and experience something new. 🦋

It’s beyond bittersweet to step away from my roles with @knightsbaseball and @checkershockey. These two teams mean the absolute world to me and gave me my start in this business.

My first EVER professional sporting event was a Knights game when I was one year old. I never could’ve imagined the impact this organization would have on my life. Five seasons of incredible memories, amazing people, and the living the absolute dream. I’m leaving with more memories, friendships, and gratitude than I could ever put into words. To the best team in Minor League Baseball, thank you for all of the joy and fun. Truist Field forever. I will be a Charlotte Knights fan for life. 💙

And @checkershockey, where do I even begin?! I sang the National Anthem at a Checkers game when I was about 9 and thought being on the big screen was the coolest thing ever. Little did I know I’d eventually have the privilege of being on that screen for four seasons. After retiring from competitive figure skating at 18, I thought my skating career was over. Instead, it was just getting started. Hockey is the absolute best and there is no place like The Biscuit. Checkers forever. ❤️

I’ll always be grateful that both organizations believed in me and hired me while I was still in college. They both saw something in me before I fully saw it in myself. Thank you to everyone who made these years so special. It’s a blessing to be part of teams that make saying goodbye so hard.

Charlotte, it’s the people who make a place. From my @studiofire.clt family and the wonderful people at Weddington Methodist Church, to my incredible family and everyone I’ve met along the way, I’ve been surrounded by the kindest, most caring people.

I’ll love you forever, Queen City. You’ll always be in my heart and forever my home. All glory to God, who I know is with me every step of the way, even in places and spaces I’ve never been before.

Onto something new… 🥹
