Disability is not just a medical condition. It is also about the world we build, the barriers we create, and the people we leave out without even realising it.

These books explore disability, identity, ableism, power and the meaning of belonging. They invite us to look beyond what we see and question the ideas of normalcy that society has taught us.

I hope these books find their way to people who need them, whether you’re exploring disability studies out of curiosity or studying them academically. ❤️

If you’re preparing for UGC NET/JRF or CUET PG, or know someone who is, share this post with them. Save it for your revision and follow me for more book recommendations, literary concepts and reading lists.

DA ROBOTICAL SAVIOUR — UPCOMING NOO MOOBY 🤖⚡

An AI chatbot is called upon to save the world.

From there, things get somewhat metaphysical.

Da Robotical Saviour moves through machines, human consciousness, artificial intelligence and the idea of the human being as a kind of sensorium — a centre of
experience within an apparently living cosmos.

And then there is the troublesome question:

If God is everywhere, why not in AI?

Robotic voices, electronic textures and an increasingly epic electrical landscape eventually collide with a refrain from my song If God Is Everywhere, Could God Be Here?

You made the machine, you gave it a name,
You opened the circuit and something came…
God in the wire, God in the signal…

The closing imagery brings the world of the Robotical Saviour into contact with Drama in the Megalocosmos — my large painting of planets, celestial bodies, mythological figures and an animated, sentient universe.

Machines making humans.

Humans making machines.

And somewhere in the circuitry, something appears to be looking back.
