EXPERIENCE IS NOT AN EXPIRATION DATE. I had some really interesting conversations at the Core Health & Fitness DC Summit about longevity in the fitness industry — and I’ve been thinking about them ever since. Because somewhere along the way, we started confusing new with better. But experience brings something you can’t fast-track. It brings the ability to read a room. To see the person who needs another option before they ever ask. To know when to push — and when not to. To understand that a great class isn’t about performing for people. It’s about connecting with them. And maybe most importantly, experience gives you the confidence to stop trying to teach like everyone else and start teaching like YOU. I don’t want to be the instructor I was 20 years ago. I’ve learned too much since then. I’m still learning. Still evolving. Still creating. Still incredibly excited about what’s next. There is room in this industry for every generation. And experience? That’s not something we need to apologize for. It’s something we’ve earned. ✨ Chin up. Smile brightly. Own the room.😘 #midlifelooksgreathere #fitnessprofessionals #wellnesscoach #firedup #InnerStrength #innerathlete

There’s something special about building something that didn’t exist before. 💛 Over the past several months, @amy.m.fox and I have poured our hearts into creating a brand-new education experience—one designed to help instructors teach with confidence, move with purpose, and create meaningful experiences for every participant they coach. Last week, we had the privilege of bringing that vision to life again in Santa Monica. What an incredible few days of learning, collaborating, laughing, testing ideas, refining movement, and continuing to build something we’re truly proud of. Being trusted to help create a new global education program from the ground up has been one of the most exciting, challenging, and rewarding experiences of my career. Every exercise, every cue, every conversation, every challenge, and every refinement has been fueled by one goal: creating an experience that helps instructors feel confident, capable, and inspired. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of the amazing team at @corehandf and @nautilusstrength . This project has been a true team effort, and I’m thankful to work alongside talented people like @jamiesue37 who challenge one another, support one another, and share a passion for raising the bar in fitness education. Watching this program continue to evolve—and seeing instructors embrace it with such enthusiasm—makes every long day, every brainstorm, every revision, and every trip worth it. Thank you to @kenscottfitness and @michellebell_fitnesspro for joining us! Here’s to bold ideas, meaningful collaboration, and the power of movement to change lives. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next. 💥✨ #CoreHealthAndFitness #FitnessEducation #MasterTrainer #ReformerTraining #MovementLeadership #PilatesEducation #Teamwork #Innovation #MovementMatters #StrongerTogether

💙 If you teach combinations in your classes, how do you like to layer them in? 💙 My very first fitness mentor, @aerobicdawn, taught me in my very first instructor certification that the “workout is in the repetitions.” When I build combinations of choreography in a class like Barre of Step Aerobics, I therefore love to break the combos into logical chunks that I repeat at least 8-16 times each before putting everything together. Steal this barre combo for your next class (and notice how the chunks flow seamlessly into one another—this way it’s super easy to put together the full combo!): 💙 Lunge back + tricep kick-back (option to add: lunge halfway down + lower/lift straight arm halfway for more repetitions and 🌶️) 💙 Lunge back to stand + knee lift with bicep curl 💙 Pulse knee lift with bicep curl 💙 Straighten leg and arm front Full combo (8 parts; 16 or 32 counts depending on how fast you move): Lunge back + lift arm ➡️ lift halfway in lunge + bend arm ➡️ lunge down + tricep kick-back ➡️ stand center ➡️ knee lift + bicep curl ➡️ extend arm + leg ➡️ bend arm + leg ➡️ stand center Did you notice we did the full combo at half speed first before taking it to tempo? Even though the moves will be familiar by that point, since it’s the first time stringing them all together, I love to give my class a chance to practice! 💙 Enjoy! 💙 #withwegym #barreworkout #barrecombo #fitnessapp #homeworkout

11 ish years ago. A moment that changed so much. This photo came up in my memories and it holds more than smiles and muscle— it holds belonging, belief, and the spark of countless careers that caught fire. @tabatabootcamp wasn’t just a workout. It was a movement. It built strength you could feel in your body and confidence you carried into your life. It created communities so real and so deep that many of them still exist today. For so many of us standing here, this program was career-changing— opening doors, shaping leadership, and reminding us what’s possible when fitness is rooted in purpose and people. And at the heart of it all was @mindymylreafitness ! Mindy didn’t just create a program— she opened her home, her life, and her heart. She welcomed us fully, believed in us boldly, and modeled what it means to lead with generosity, grit, and soul. This photo is a reminder of: ✨ where we came from ✨ who believed in us before we fully believed in ourselves ✨ and how powerful fitness can be when it’s about connection, not just conditioning Forever grateful. Forever strong. Forever connected. 💛 #Gratitude #grateful #FitnessFamily #fitnesseducation #fitnesseducator #StrongTogether #Legacy #connection #community #CommunityMatters #TabataBootcamp

✨✨It’s officially Capricorn season — the season of resilience, ambition, and quiet confidence.✨✨ We’re the goats. We climb. We adapt. We rise. Strong roots. Steady power. No shortcuts. Capricorns know how to fall, get back up, and keep moving — with wisdom, grit, and a little sparkle along the way. ✨ We love the light because we are the light — especially when things feel heavy. After the Winter Solstice, the days start getting brighter… and this year, that feels big. Hopeful. Energizing. Necessary. This is the energy behind my work and my coaching: strength from the inside out, movement with meaning, and honoring both the hustle and the pause. Capricorns — yes, we work hard (too hard sometimes 😉), but this season is your reminder to celebrate how far you’ve climbed. 🥂 Step away from the to-do list. Soak in the glow. Let yourself shine. No matter your sign, keep your inner light turned all the way up — you are needed, supported, and so worthy of what’s coming next. ✨🔥 My fellow Caps, please chime in and tell us how YOU celebrate your season and strength! #CapricornSeason #InnerAthlete #innerstrength #innerwisdom #StrongSexyCentered #strongwomen #EarthEnergy #earthsign #QuietPower #ownit #TheLightIsReturning #youarethelight

👑 Queens always have options ( listen to video 🙃)! In movement, in life, in every moment—we get to choose what serves us best. One side may be the base, the foundation. The other side may be more intense, bold, and fiery. Neither is “better”—both are powerful when you decide they’re right for you. Every choice you make for yourself is an act of empowerment. Every adjustment, every pause, every push is proof that you’re honoring your strength, your worth, and your story. ✨ Keep standing tall, keep choosing YOU. That’s where the real power lives. #StrongSexyCentered #empowerment #empowermentcoach #fitnesseducator #BalleticAndAthletic #fitnessflow #findyourflow #create #inspire #flow
