The incredible work of @amanda.jane_art was one of the biggest challenges in building this world. Over a month of preparation before hitting the sets and lots of important decisions. Thank you @maxrose.media for another insightful 3 minutes into the outset world.

Saturday night was a blast - and it wouldn’t have been possible without you!

We lit up the iconic Majestic Theatre in Pomona to celebrate 15 years of STUFFit Student Film Festival, and you all showed up ready and waiting - adding another sold out event to our books (that’s 4 years in a row!). This year we received 163 entries from around the world - with 45 of those making the shortlist, and then our 21 finalists were screened (and live-streamed!) on Saturday night. To see a growing number of people supporting emerging filmmakers is truly incredible, and we’d like to thank some very special people who helped make it happen:

🩵 @quevents, our technical partner, for seeing our vision and enabling it to happen. Your support and generosity is incredible
❤️ The Majestic Theatre Pomona, our venue partner, hosting our 15th anniversary in your iconic theatre

🏆 and the student filmmakers! Thank you for trusting STUFFit as a platform to showcase your work.

Congratulations to Liam Abbey for taking home our People’s Choice Award for his music video ‘Hotel Californa’, and to Mikayla Pitcher - winner of our inaugural Production Prize Pack (valued at $5000!)

If you’d like to share your thoughts or feedback, we’d love to hear it. Head to feedback.stuffitfilmfestival.com by October 10th for your chance to win 1 of 5 Event Cinemas gift cards

Entries for the STUFFit 2027 open in late February - we can’t wait to see what you create next!
