Hello friends,

These last three months have been insane in the best possible way, we couldn’t be more happy and grateful for everything and everyone 💚

We’ve got so many delicious Ethiopian coffees on the menu and retail shelf right now. Some washed some natural, all super tasty. We’re super excited to have @terraformcoffee join the fray, look out for their Bensa coming to the menu soon

The Carlito will be staying on as our featured drink for another week or so, make sure you get your fill while it’s around! Our new fall drink will make its debut right after so stay tuned for that

If you pre-ordered an E-40 shirt they’re here at the cafe ready to be picked up and we still have some left over if you missed out on the pre-order

The ultra delicious tomato jam scone from @matjip.sf is retiring since tomatoes are now out of season and has been replaced with a super savory and scrumptious bacon jam scone with jalapeños (mmmm)

We’ll probably have affogatos this week too since the weather calls for it (yum)

PS. It’s Octoberfest at @suppenkuchesf so go get yourself a Hofbrau and some curry wurst it’s a divine combination

Okay see you soon
We love yall 💚

hi yall PENCILS OUT! 🤓✏️📆

10.14 @laszlobarsf - I'm keeping the Laszlo booth warm for @dj_kelleyjane and playing their happy hour 6-930 this Wednesday :) come grab a drink and say hi <3 flyer art by @borauyumazturk

10.24 LOW RES #2 - Opening duty in the upstairs of [SECRET LOCATION] with the deepest grooviest records I've got. I was once struck dumb by a track played by Traxx, again by Theo Parrish, and finally by Ash Lauryn. That last set I was lucky to be standing by someone who let me know that it was the one and only @rahaanrah who produced it. Since then I've made sure to grab a Rahaan record whenever I see one and rinse them often. I'm so excited to be a part of this support crew, w local legends @calebshnayleb @aethereal @mrbighappy @vinsol @f.a.g.archive @edgyatbest, for Rahaan's sojourn from Chicago. Maybe you'll hear that one track if you come early for my set 😘. EARLY BIRD TIX ON SALE THIS WILL SELL OUT

10.31 @shakeurbones X @body.sf HALLOWEEN - you know that episode of Girls where Hannah and the girls party in a bushwick warehouse and run into every single person they know and love? Well we have the same chance to recreate that experience this Halloween night. But in order to bring this to life YOUve gotta buy a ticket, send it to all your friends, and come early stay late 🫵👻😈👹 We'll have gogos, a chill out area, some of the best sound around, and a team of selectors that will keep you moving all night @mikey_sf_ @davey.ultra @gembuba and more. $10 TIX TILL TOMORROW!!!! $15 after, $20 day of.

Thanks for reading, ticky 🔗 in the usual place xxx

LOW RES #2 — SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24
RAHAAN (CHICAGO)
10PM—LATE · SECRET SF LOCATION · $25
TWO FLOORS · ALL VINYL · KLIPSCH LA SCALA SOUND
TICKETS ON RA

Low Res returns for another underground disco party. Back at a secret location in the heart of San Francisco, with two floors of music, all vinyl, and a 4-point Klipsch sound system carrying us real late into the night.

This time we welcome Chicago legend Rahaan to the basement, making his long-awaited return to San Francisco. Carrying the torch after growing up watching Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and Lil’ Louis, Rahaan has earned a worldwide reputation for fearless, high-energy sets that move through raw disco, soul, funk, boogie, and house. His selections run deep, his edits have become staples in record bags everywhere, and behind the decks, he has a way of turning records you’ve never heard into records you need to know.

Low Res #2 switches things up with a new cast of local stalwart selectors across both floors. Vin Sol brings his deep knowledge of house, disco, Italo, and electro. Big Happy digs into soulful and unexpected disco, boogie, funk, and house. Life Size Caleb comes armed with deep dance-floor cuts, while Luis G and Lilia bring their own corners of the Bay Area underground.

Infinite Jess goes B2B with Three6Sashia, bringing together two adventurous diggers for a trip through soul, jazz, disco, house, international sounds, and whatever strange records find their way into the bag.

Two floors. All vinyl. All night. See you underground.

Secret SF location. More details soon… 👀

Peep this clip from Bring the Heat. The power cuts out mid-set, but the crowd keeps the hook going. When the power comes back, Rahaan jumps right back in, matching the crowd without missing a beat.
