Thanks so so much to @say.yuup for spreading a lil love to my Drink & Draws 🍷✏️ It’s cosy season and so we’ve done a new shoot @carouse_wines and it sums them up so perfectly!

I feel really grateful to have spent time this year developing my Drink & Draw sessions with support from an @artistsnowuk Bursary. I’ve kept the sessions super simple: lovely venue, drink included, making things with hands, meeting people, lots of giggles, reminding everyone over and over that you absolutely do NOT need to be ‘good’ at drawing to enjoy it and get something out of it.

If you fancy bringing the Drink & Draw experience to your group I also run private sessions for teams and socials - I can even create a bespoke theme for you. ‘Tis the season after all 🤭🎄

Lads RUN to @pizzapilgrims for their pineapple Marg🍍🍸

As someone who considers themselves a spicy marg connoisseur, who never goes off piste to anything but the classic ingredients, I'd actually give this a 10/10. It's the best I've found in Bristol next to @condesabristol (the only other who have claimed the 10/10 status), and I've tried a LOT of them 💋

The grand tour📍Gloucester

When I moved to Gloucester earlier this year I really didn’t know much about the area (shocking I know!) so it’s been super fun to play host and have my gorgeous friends help me explore everything this fabulous city has to offer!

And when my little gluten free gang came to visit recently I knew exactly where to take them for lunch. @elote_tacos is tucked away in @gloucester_food_dock and is 100% gf! Inspired by trips across the USA and Mexico, the whole place is warm and welcoming with proper authentic dishes made using specialist ingredients sourced from Mexican grocers, alongside high quality local produce. It’s casual dining done so well! ✨

Thought it was finally time to catch up on my month dumps… whoops🙈

Started the month with Bill’s birthday celebrations!🎂 We had a lovely weekend in the Cotswolds and went for a stunning meal at @theroyaloakleighterton 🌿
Took Bill to one of my lunchtime haunts, @littlebagelcouk 🥯
Went to see what all the hype was about at @getdippedbristol with @scrannbevs 💅
Another lunchtime treat from @eatapittauk with @mit.eating yummm!😋
FINALLY visited @sancarlorestaurants after years of wanting to go and thoroughly enjoyed it!🍝
Sunday evening treat at @coppaclub.clifton ✨
Girls’ catch-up at @no1harbourside for my beloved onglet steak with @afashionoddity and @russ.scrans 🥩
Visited @cloudsbristol with @dineoutbristol and it was incredible!!! Highly recommend a trip🤩

Can’t stop thinking about the amazing time I had at Gather Round Presents number 10 a couple of weeks ago !!

It was so lovely to speak alongside an incredible line up of creatives on the theme of taste.

I shared stories about Jaqueline Wilson books, making mixtapes from the radio, lifting stones in the garden to imagine tiny communities underneath and how those childhood obsessions still influence the work I make today.

I included an interactive part where I encouraged the audience instead of asking themselves, “What’s my style?”, asking: “What have I always loved since I was a kid?”

I left feeling so grateful to be part of Bristol’s amazing creative community!!

Massive thank you to the amazing organisers @hannah.coton and @dls_dani and to @gatherround for bringing us all together.

Girl dinner at @no1harbourside with my foodie girls @afashionoddity and @russ.scrans a couple of weeks ago!😚

Between us we tried…

Starters: 🥓 Ham croquetas - love a little croqueta, these were so tasty 🤏 🫒 Chew Valley burrata with olive oil, fried capers & sourdough 🐟 Smoked mackerel pâté with cornichons, capers & sourdough

Mains: 🥩 Grass-fed 28-day aged steak onglet, chips & peppercorn sauce - my FAV cut of steak, so juicy 😋 🍟 Fish & chips with Brixham day-boat hake, minted peas & tartare sauce 🥪 Fish finger sandwich on white bread with leaves, tartare & chips

🍸 And of course we had to get a cocktail each🤭 I went for a marg - really getting into them lately!

Such a lovely spot on a summer’s day, perfect for a date night or girly catch-up🎀
