No, like— not trying to be dramatic— but A.F. Bennett has been my favorite spot for years on Staten Island to feel renewed both mind and body.

You leave feeling like a new person. It’s been by safe haven for the moments when life gets busy and I need a pick me up. It’s been a way to celebrate my biggest milestones in life and has served as the best gift of unwinding and true self care for my loved ones.

What I LOVE about this place is that everything is done with love and there is no detail left unfinished — from the warm massage and facial tables to the lemon cucumber water & hot, cozy cappuccinos to the best estheticians, hair stylists, and therapists around — this place is a girl’s dream. Not to mention, the spa is absolutely stunning.

I was literally PRINCESS MAXXING with their signature spa package, which includes:
• a 50 minute massage
• signature facial
• gel / reg private pedicure
• wash and blow out
• makeup sesh
• lunch of your choice delivered from local partners
• complimentary steam room, relaxation room, drink of your choice (wine, mimosa, cappuccino, tea, latte)

Literally still not over it & I’m telling you do not walk— RUN!! You will be thanking me.

Use code LEX at the door for 10% off your next spa treatment at my fav for the whole month of September at @afbennettnyc 🫶🏻

Meet our friend, Amanda! 💕
This week, Amanda was nominated for Diva for a Day - thanks to @divaforadayfoundation , and we couldn’t be happier to see her receive a day of love, pampering, and a little well-deserved escape. She was treated to a full day of beauty and relaxation at @afbennettnyc, including a massage, manicure, and beautiful hair blowout—and even received a gorgeous flower donation from @eltingvilleflorist. 🌸

Erica, Louise and Betty are so grateful to help make sure our Staten Island nominees get the special day they deserve. We’re especially happy that Amanda got to enjoy her day surrounded by so much kindness, generosity, and love from this amazing foundation. You deserve every bit of it, Amanda! 💗✨

✨ One builds resilience. The other can break it down ⚖️💪 Your body is constantly balancing stress and recovery. When that balance shifts too far in one direction, it can affect energy, focus, performance, mood, and overall well-being.

Cortisol vs. Testosterone explores the relationship between the body’s primary stress hormone and one of its key vitality hormones. While cortisol helps us respond to challenges, chronically elevated levels can impact recovery, muscle development, motivation, and long-term wellness. Understanding how these two systems interact can be a powerful step toward optimizing health and performance.
