Metro Weightlifting Championships 2026.

Posting my favorite shots from this comp. I was a competitor, but I also enjoyed taking photos and documenting what I observed throughout the event.

While observing, I realized that weightlifting is both a team and an individual sport. Teammates and coaches are there to rally you and cheer for you, yet on the platform, it is you and your mind, alone.

It's a strength sport, yes, but more often than not, the mind does what the body can't.

Thank you @affiliatealliance and @upweightliftingclub for organizing this event! See you next year!

The lifts were heavy. The support was stronger. 🏋️

Body Mechanic joined the weightlifting community at Metro Weightlifting 2026 from competition-day lifts to strong holds in our Longest Squat Challenge!

Our booth kept the energy going with the Follow 2 Win raffle, free stickers, alcohol keychains, and event-exclusive offers. Congratulations to everyone who took home recovery vouchers! 💪

Thank you to every athlete and visitor who stopped by. Your training takes commitment and your movement and recovery deserve attention, too.

This isn’t just about stepping back onto the platform and competing again. It’s a testimony of what progress can look like (6-months) postpartum…. Finding your strength, failing your sets, training on little to no sleep, and still choosing to do what you love while taking care of the little human you love the most.

Motherhood didn’t stop me. It just gave me a whole new reason to keep going. ❤️‍🔥✨🤱🏽
