Born in Panama and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mikki Afflick, known as 'The House Empress' and the 'King of her Queendom', began her DJ journey at just twelve years old ✨ Mikki's talent caught the attention of Larry Levan during her early days at the iconic Paradise Garage, where he re-worked one of her edits and played it at the legendary club.

In 2009, Mikki established Soul Sun Soul Music, her influential record label that played a crucial role in releasing pioneering Afro tracks before the Afro House genre gained recognition 🌟
