I’ll try to recap last week’s absolutely amazing celebration.

Suicide Records put together two truly mesmerising nights at Monument, two nights filled with warmth, love, hugs, friendship, and of course, incredible music.

Twenty years of celebrating resistance, togetherness, and the power of music. These two nights will stay in my heart forever.

Thank you to everyone who made it so special. 🖤 @suicide_records @messedupmagazine @monument031 @qtechsweden @kazeamusic @klps_music @industrialpuke @pagandom_official @agrimoniaband @grandcadaver @voldetvoldet @blackbirch.band @themothgatherer @afgrundgrindcore @ettdodensmaskineri @burstsweden @kibakonst @tuschdanne

🔥BAND PRESENTATION 🔥

We have a huge respect for Swedish grindcore, and therefore are we stoked to present @afgrundgrindcore to join us celebrating 20 years of grinding! 20 years of resistance and 20 years of grind = total mayhem chaos 💪

Afgrund came to life in Uppsala, Sweden during chaotic times back in January 2006 as a spontaneous grindcore project by Patrik Howe, Olle Ferner (Lastkaj 14) and Andreas Baier (Besvärjelsen, Vorder, Hilning etc). Although the bands’ chaotic history and periodically crazy band member changes, the founding and original members are now celebrating the 20th anniversary of Afgrunds’ existence and will be making a very rare appearance at this years Suicide Records Fest. The show will include both Afgrunds’ long-time Finnish drummer Panu Posti and early drummer Olle Ferner who will play the demo recording “Hjärtslag och djupa andetag” from 2006 in its entirety with us. We’re pretty sure this will never happen again.

Get yourself a ticket today!!
See you in the pit!
