MUSTANG IS OUT NOW!!!! This animation started as just a short, REALLY short, short film that gradually grew. - I showed Afonso the first prompt I had from the beginning, which remained the current intro for the short, and I don't even remember how, but he showed up with a script he made of a possible dialogue within this context, which quickly evolved into a storyboard that was made very organically, as were the additions to the lore. I explained to Afonso that the department's official car was a Mustang because of the Lana Del Rey song "White Mustang," and he took care of the rest of the story. - Later, the car would be used as the department's official means of transport, hence the choice of the animator's name. We ended up drawing a lot of Mustangs with this on the table. It was a very sustainable, calm, and gradual process of animating everything, making the scene sketches, ah! So much so that the vast majority of the storyboard was done on March 22nd at the Kitsune market, and the audio was also recorded that same day in his car in a parking lot near a McDonald's, lmao, low budget type shyt. I've dedicated the last few weeks to finishing the animation and editing of the entire short film, and yeah, this is so far the biggest project of my career as an animator and of The Bullshit Department. I'm very proud to have managed to do this in such a relaxed way and still achieve this quality. Of course, I owe a very special thank you to Afonso for doing all this with me and for being my right-hand man in recent months regarding The Bullshit Department. Thank you to our other friends and to all of you who followed this process and are now seeing the final product. I can't wait to do more things like this and continue developing The Bullshit Department! You can also watch the video on YouTube, and once again, thank you all! - #ocs #animation #originalcharacters #2danimation #shortanimations #edition #videoedition

THE BULLSHIT DEPARTMENT NEW POSTER FT. @afonso.faz !?!! - This was a really cool and crazy project. I remember at the beginning of the year wanting to make a new poster for TBD right away, I don't really remember why I was so eager but I think I wanted to make it clear that this year would be 100% dedicated to the project and I wanted to bring more seriousness to it. Initially, I was making some sketches and I also wanted to exceed my capabilities in color, drawing, etc. The Fumetsu group led by Seroi uses a '67 Mustang imported from Yugoslavia by Norman's family, who ended up inheriting the car and saw it as a toy. The department ended up using it as their official means of transport (these details about the car were all written by @afonso.faz !) With Afonso's help, both visually and in terms of script, I was able to make a lot of progress on the project, and together we made this poster. He did the outline of the car and helped me choose the Fumetsu camera, and I did the painting and the rest of the drawing in a HUGE RUSH last week, and here it is 💪 I was really happy with the result. Maybe with more time I would have added more details, but it was incredible working with Afonso, and the project is moving forward more and more. Thank you for your patience, and yeah, I hope you liked it. It will be available at my stand tomorrow at @mercado_kitsune in A3 size!! - #artist #artmarket #oclore #illustration #digitalart
